Rockybrook Millerin mökki

Tämä 1800-luvun alkupuolella myllynmökki on kunnostettu rakkaudella ja on valmis rentouttavalle lomallesi. Vain 7 mailin päässä Main Street Abingdonista, tämä kodikas retriitti sijaitsee erinomaisella paikalla perheen hauskanpitoon. Muutaman jaardin päässä Holston-joen pohjoisesta haarukasta on helppo pääsy kalastukseen ja Adventure Mendota -puistoon, joka on paikallinen letkuasentaja. Olemme muutaman minuutin päässä Bristol TN / VA: sta ja Bristol Motor Speedwaystä. Vaellus, pyöräily, kalastus ja metsästys nauttivat alueen asukkaista. Paikallisia suosikkeja ovat Barter-teatteri, Martha Washington Inn, Heartwood, Creeper Trail (mukaan lukien Appalachian Trail) ja upea valikoima paikallisia ruokia. Highlands Festival, Bristol Rhythm & Roots ja monet muut kulttuuritapahtumat tekevät alueeltamme erinomaisen lomakohteen.

Kiinteistömme sisustus on alkuperäinen myllyn mökki, joka on rakennettu 1820-luvulla. 1900-luvun alkupuolella matkustamoa laajennettiin ja ulkoseinää laajennettiin. Päämakuuhuone ja kylpyhuone ovat pääkerroksessa. *** Huomaa, että kaksi yläkerran makuuhuonetta ovat erittäin jyrkät. Tämä lisää matkustamon ainutlaatuisuutta, mutta voi olla ongelma matkustajille, joilla on liikkuvuusongelmia.

Täydellinen keittiö soveltuu ruoan valmistukseen ja viihteeseen. Mikroaaltouuni, kahvinkeitin ja kaikki keittiövälineet toimitetaan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were in the area for an annual family reunion and this place was perfect for us! The kids enjoyed the outdoors, all the inside games and just having "adventures." Everything we needed was right there. We didn't even leave 1 of the days we were there. The uniqueness of the cabin was just perfect for our curious kiddos. It felt almost like Little House on the Prairie with some modern touches of course! We could tell there was much thought and love put into this place. Regina is an exceptional host! We just appreciated every little detail. We'll definitely be back next year!!!

We are 3 friends who love crafting, sewing, quilting, and relaxing. This weekend was about taking time to unwind and heal from life’s demands. Abingdon was about half way between our respective hometowns. Regina is the best host! She has renovated and decorated this cabin to perfection! Plenty of space and comforts abound along with visual reminders to keep it simple. We will be back!

We could not have asked for a more comfortable or accommodating stay. It was the perfect place to ring in the new year. The personal touches of the cabin, the thoughtful items all over that made our stay stress free, were much appreciated. We didn’t have to go far to find food, shopping, or hiking. Great location. Had it been warmer I am certain my kiddos would have played in the creek. We’ll have to come back in the warmer months. We’ve already told several of our friends about this charming cabin!

She did everything she could to make sure we had an excellent stay starting off with her signature welcome gift—delicious! We unfortunately had car trouble while there and she had us connected us to all the people in town to get it worked out before we left. Thanks to her, we made the best of time we had. The beds were great. The environment was awesome… my kids wanted to explore in the backyard. Thanks for all your help!

In my search for rustic cabins, I happened upon this little piece of history. We absolutely loved the history of it having been built in 1810 as the miller’s cabin and grist mill. The owner is one of the sweetest souls we’ve ever encountered. The care that is taken for guests is above and beyond! We’ll be back!!!

We stayed at this cabin with some friends for the weekend, and we couldn't have asked for a better place. We fell in love with the cabin immediately. It was so well thought-out and homey. Regina was such a wonderful and thoughtful host, even baking a cake for us when we arrived! We can't wait to come back. :)

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful cabin and met our new grandchild and got to see our older grandsons as well as my husband’s adult kids. The cabin was perfect. Totally quaint and charming, well equipped, plenty of comfy spaces, good Internet for TV watching. We had meals on the deck and lots of visiting. The boys loved playing in the creek. We had a great bonfire. We can’t wait to come back.

We had the most amazing time at this cabin! Regina is a fantastic hostess who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Regina was the absolute best host! There is ample towels, kitchen ware, and even a few toiletries incase you forgot something! She left us the BEST cake and was super helpful in answering any questions I had about the area. We had one issue, no fault of hers, and she responded quickly to assist. My kids LOVED her. She is truly a gem! If you only do one thing on this trip, rent bikes and take a shuttle up to white top and do the Creeper Trail back down to Damascus. You won’t regret it!
