Will be back
Loved, loved our stay! Right on the ocean, comfortable bed, great view and above all else nice and quiet! We were pleasantly surprised when our room was not part of the house but a-separate building in the back of the property ! Lots of parking to accommodate guest. Breakfast was nice .

Very pleasant stay for three nights. Room was very comfortable and breakfasts were nicely prepared, varied and more than ample. Hosts are welcoming and very friendly. Recommended when using Digby as a base.

Beautiful property with amazing views. Great hosts, lovely homemade waffles (gluten free provided for my husband), fruit and bacon for breakfast. Loved our experience...we would definitely stay there again.

Owners were very friendly.Liked my experience. My only comment would be ,i would have preferred if my private bath had access from my room. Inconvenient to leave my room to use washroom. Other than that my experience was positive.

We had a late check-in and our host was gracious enough to stay up and wait for us(we called ahead to let her know). I wish she would have asked us what time we wanted breakfast(had to reserve a time-wasn’t aware of this) and because we were the last to check in the only time was the earliest service and as you can imagine we were a bit tired and wished we could have slept in a bit. Breakfast was only ok. No choice in what we ate and it was mediocre in taste. Room was nice and modern looking and of course you can’t beat the view. It was beautiful.

The property is located close to downtown so very walkable. Joe and Barb were very accommodating hosts and the breakfasts were delicious.

It was a confortable, clean, air conditioned room, however, a used bar of soap was left in the shower from the last guest. The view of the ocean was wonderful. There was insufficient seating for all guests for the complimentary breakfast, so service was offered in 2 seatings. The later service did not work for us, which was disappointing since it was one reason we'd booked that location. I'd suggest they add a few more tables to the breakfast area.

We stayed for one night. The room was large, a little outdated, but still very nice. The bed was very comfortable. Privacy was great and this was very quiet being in the building away from the main road. Check in was simple, nice to see a happy pup there, always appreciate our furry friends. But that’s us. We love doggies. The breakfast was very basic. Crepe was ok, it was ok at best nothing extraordinary. Tasty, fresh fruit pieces. Did the trick to start the day. However if you are expecting a sizable breakfast which is more than a quick bite.. you will be disappointed even though it tasted ok. The syrup was not real maple so that was kind of a downer. Over all it gets a 4/5. And I would recommend the place for shorter stays.

After checking in enjoyed sitting on the chairs facing the ocean and chatting and choosing a place to walk to for dinner. Host recommendations were appreciated. Looking forward to a relaxing evening, quiet sleep and delicious breakfast.

Location facing the water was nice. Breakfast was nice but had to be at the 7:30 seating as the 9am was full. Easy walk to town.

Our hostess was very accommodating on our arrival time due to being caught between being too early before book in and then not being back to the area until after hour book in. The only disappointment was not having food allergies addressed at breakfast.....grant you I was embarrassed to speak up after our late arrival the night before. Overall I would stay there again but check in to food options ahead of time.

Could not review this facility because due to severe weather leading up to our stay at this facility all roads leading to Digby were closed due to flooding and washout. We soon realized we couldn't make it but were told when we called that we were still responsible for the room and would be charged & we were. We were also told " the weather was fine in Digby" Very disappointed to end our east coast vacation this way. Not the Maritime way

We are sorry you could not make your booking, however the rest of our guests made their way here just fine with some small detours (Several from the same area you were in). We had no severe weather in Digby, and the flooding was only in a few small areas of NS. We are very disappointed you decided to take out your frustrations over your lack of travel insurance on our review score when you did not even stay at our facility.Not the Canadian way
