Fantastic hotel, perfect if you want a peaceful yet lively hotel experience. They have everything nearby and staff are superb. This is the second time I've stayed here in 5 years and they have kept up the standard.

This was the best hotel we have stayed in in Turkiye. We stayed at Conrad and Intercontinental in Istanbul and they were wonderful but Akra Antalya was a luxurious oasis. I love Antalya. So beautiful and serene with the picturesque backdrop of the mountains encircled by the Mediterranean Sea. Absolutely breathtaking. Akra was a very comfortable stay. We didn't want to leave. The place is modern and very clean. Staff go out of their way to help you. They have a warm pool, big gym, complimentary hamam and free bicycles to go around town. They don't really have a beach. Just a cement pier but the sea was freezing so we didn't care much..but i did jump in once to say I've been in the Mediterranean. Expedia VIP was really nice. Free bottle of wine, apples, juice, delicious cookies. A nice added touch to perfect our stay.

Was a very strange stay as looking out at the mountain views you’d think I’d feel like I’m in paradise, however it was like hell, my whole family got food poisoning eating from the hotel which ruined our whole holiday as we were way too sick to even do anything. We even booked our flights back sooner so we didn’t have to stay any longer. Upon check in, they were aware that I was an expedia vip, and entitled to FREE room upgrade, however they still made me pay an extra £500 to upgrade and told me its based on availability.. if it was based on availability then surely you wouldn't be able to offer me an upgrade for £500 extra then? We paid it anyway as we needed a bigger room. Upon entering the room we found multiple faults with the condition of the room, the balcony door wouldn’t close and I have young children so thats dangerous, the bath would flood the bathroom floor if turned on and the bathroom door was off the hinges. When we complained to the staff at the hotel, they were so rude and arrogant, arguing back with us when their rubbish hotel and service ruined what could have been an amazing holiday with my family. The views from the balcony may be beautiful, but honestly unless you want to feel like death, I’d avoid this place!

Enjoyed a relaxing stay at the hotel. Food was great, the gym, pool and spa were all lovely. Utilitised the VIP lounge many times. The staff were all really helpful from the moment we arrived. Their English is impeccable, putting my clumsy attekprs at Turkish to shame. The room was lovely and spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely go back.

This 5* hotel glows on its old glory. Rooms and most common areas show signs of tear and wear, and bathroom shower had mold (unacceptable!). Despite telling the front desk I booked as an expedia gold member, I received no benefits, and was actually told the room was upgraded (which was not true). I provided immediate feedback vis Expedia, only to receive a phone call from a manager 5 min before the checkout, who offered a complimentary drink in a bar.

Staff went out of their way to help. I had a couple of issues during the stay and they listened to my concerns and made an effort to address them. Overall a very nice, clean hotel. The buffet restaurant had excellent healthy food.

Great welcome with very easy check-in. Concierge took the time to explain anything and everything and took care of our excess luggage. Breakfast has to be seen to be believed. I would definitely stay here again. If I had to nitpick, usb charging outlets would be good.

I BLAME EXPEDIA for our disappointing stay, I purchased an All Inclusive Resort Package, only to realise, Akra understanding of All-Inclusive means EXCLUDING DRINKS (especially Soft Drinks)! The Food was great & enjoyable, but the A La Carte meal was unenjoyable and expensive (is not part of package)! We had booked this on the belief it was a Resort Hotel but it was actually a Business Hotel nr the City beside the Sea. The description stated Private Beach - Akra's Beach was a Rock Bay, no Sand, and it was open to Outsiders, Many Fishermen. Private Beach means exclusive with a Beach. The only Hotel Facilities was a Hammam (very good) & Tennis Courts, Bar/two diners. We had to re-plan our holiday to do day daily Tours as there was not much on in the hotel. No shows, no evening entertainment etc. We were expecting a proper beach resort. The hotel's Taxi service is slightly more expensive then the normal street Taxi service, though perhaps we experienced the only unscrupulous driver? And Finally a Human error, there was a miscommunication, I wanted to surprise my wife with a birthday treat on the 6th day of our arrival, but the hotel staff setup the room on the day of arrival, 6 days too early, which ruined the surprise altogether. Expedia filtering option on their website and their research got this all wrong, it is very poor and ruined our Xmas vacation, as we had to layout more money and re-plan our vacation to make it worthwhile. Will re-consider using Expedia again

Your happiness and satisfaction are among our highest priorities. Please know that our team works wholeheartedly and strives to ensure your satisfaction.All taxi prices in the city are determined via taximeter in accordance with legal regulations. Unfortunately, the hotel has no precautions to take in this regard and taxi is a service for which the hotel is not directly responsible. Taxis are arranged by a taxi office servicing the hotel, but are constantly supervised and no irregularities are made.We also appreciate your feedback about your booking experience with Expedia and will share this information with them in more detail so they can review it for improvement.We value your feedback and if you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please contact our Guest Experience team.
