Great location, lovely service, easy to access but no ventilation in the bathroom, not a lot of fresh air in the room. The room was very very small. The bed was very uncomfortable and the walls were thin. I did love having access to the kitchen and I could see how the pool would be great in summer. Loved the fire pit but didn’t have be anything too light the fire…did love the marshmallows as an option to roast in the fire though. Mixed bag experience…

While the property was outdated, we found the rooms and amenities were very clean and fairly well kept. Good value for money, would consider staying again.

Perfect room for a little getaway! Honestly the best check in and check out. Without asking, they texted us to say we could come early, and then again later in the afternoon to say we could have a late checkout!!! Now that's service!

Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Close to walk to the shops, the lighthouse or the playground. On-site tennis court and pool plus well equiped guest kitchen facilities (shared). We enjoyed our stay, the guest house wasn’t modern but was perfect for a couple of nights away.

Interesting place
Plenty to do at the site. Pool (weather too cold), campfire set up for use near a huge room for making meals. Tennis and basketball and other sport equipment available. The guest house had rooms to play cards etc and a restaurant for dinner (which was not open the day we were there)

We really enjoyed our stay and loved that there were so many amenities to use. Everything was really well stocked and our stay was exactly what we were looking for. In terms of feedback, maybe some ice trays in the mini fridges would be awesome. Thanks so much!

Great facilities. Spacious grounds. Close to shops, beach and trails. Perfect for a stop over or weekend getaway. Only slight issue is noise. Loud doors and thin walls. Not always great when trying to sleep. Having said this, my kids had no problems falling asleep. And, the noise stopped well before midnight.

The only reason I would leave a bad review for this lovely guesthouse is because we are definitely going to book again. The clean, comfortable, simple family room was all we needed for a three night stay whilst driving in to the Celtic Festival. The continental breakfasts in the drawing room were a lovely opportunity to meet other guest. Short walk to the light house. SOrry we didnt get to book the restaurant!

The room was very clean and heating provided fast and efficient heat. The images portrayed on-line gave a very different picture to what was apparent. e.g---the lounge/sitting room had no lights on, no fire--in fact fire was 'out of order'---very disappointing. Certainly not the ambience that is seen on-line.. For one night it was ok.

Fantastic facilities at this property. Some could say the room was a bit plain but we loved the old worldly charm of a gone by era. The self contained space at the rear was amazing. Everything was provided for a most enjoyable stay.

Dated, no air conditioning, cramped room and ensuite. Was meant to be a motel room, the room was was just one of many within a large building, hence the people leaving the building at 3.30 am could clearly be heard. The room and ensuite was clean, but cramped, dated and over priced. I wouldn't stay there again. The bed was clean which was my only highlight, my overall experience there was disappointing.

The room we had was very small and had a double bed not a queen size as expected. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
