Lomalaiset
Huoneiston sijainti oli mitä parhain. Vanhan kaupungin pääkadun vieressä. Ystävällinen ja kielitaitoinen hyvä palvelu. Huoneisto oli ihan perus siisti ei mitään huippua mutta ihan OK. Ainut miinuspuoli oli netti. Talossa paksut kiviseinät ja reititin oli respassa. Ei tahtonut toimia.

Viihtyisä pikkuhotelli!
Viityisä pikkuhotelli historiallisessa miljöössä Bergamon vanhassa kaupungissa. Itse hotelli useita satoja vuosia vanha nykyaikaistettu tilava, joskin vähän sokkeloinen huoneisto. Voin lämpimästi suositella isonkin perheen tukikohdaksi. Miinuksena pari seikkaa, luottokortit eivät käy maksuvälineenä, huone pitää maksaa käteisellä ja sijainti ensimmäistä kertaa saapuessa, Bergamon vanhan kaupungin pikkukadulla ja "autotallin oven" näköisen oven pielessä ainoastaan 10 cm leveä hotellikyltti ei helpota hotellin löytämistä ensimmäisellä kerralla. Onneksi lentomme saapuessa hyvin myöhään illalla olimme varanneet hotellin kuljetuksen, joka oli meitä vastassa lentokentällä, jos olisimme alkuperäisen suunnitelmamme mukaisesti ottaneet jo saapuessamme vuokra-auton lentokentältä ja koittaneet hotellin löytää yöllä omin voimin, olisi siinä varmaan muutama ärräpää päässyt. Muuten täytyy kyllä joustavaa ja hyvin henkilökohtaista palvelua kiittää.

Great location
Casa Mario Lupa is an excellent base for exploring Citta Alta in Bergamo. Located in an old building the facilities are fine. Our room did not have a window we could use but otherwise we had everything we needed. Breakfast was limited but again ok. The owner was welcoming and helpful.

A perfect break
Excellent facilities, and great location just a few yards away from the main walking streets of Bergamo (upper town). There are four locked gateways/doors to get through to access your room which added to the feeling of being very protected within this beautiful old building. The very polite owner & his family live on site which was also very reassuring. Breakfast was always served with a smile and some good advice on restaurants. Local Bergamo wine is available to purchase from owner as well as a selection of beverages. Bergamo has history and beauty in equal measure. The Basilica is one of the most beautiful I’ve been in.

Gianmauro was an excellent and very friendly host. The property is a medieval house in the center of old Bergamo, close to the Cathedral and several churches. The room was quiet and pleasant. Highly recommended.

Location is great, and the property is in an old palace, with frescoes, really beautiful! Overall, I recommend it. Unfortunately, we probably got the worst room in that property. It's a room on the ground floor that had only one window, facing the entrance. So, if we wanted to have natural light, privacy would be a bit compromised. Other rooms above us had more windows.

This is a mixed review. I give the B&B 10 for the location in Bergamo’s historique center and for the historical building. The room was very big and had a full size fridge. I give them 7 when it comes to the breakfast and the service. Also at this location the locality forbids heating after April 15 so if you encounter a cold spell in the weather as we did, the room is cold (19 celcius). If you are by car, you must park in a private parking facility about 5 minutes away passing on cobblestone streets. The parking is a very safe place to put your car but it costs 25 Euros. Took funicular to citti bassa where you can find a nice laundromat and wash and dry for about 10 euros. A good 15-minute walk.

In Italy, in all all private and public area, offices bar and hotel , the national law obligate all business to set a temperature internal of 19 degrees,max 19.50; this is a law and we might respect; in the winter it is set on 2 degrees; In may the heating machines must be turned off, so there is nothing to say about it; that week of may we had some rain and cool wind, but it is very far away to say "cold", it is the room temperature that we had in that time; Unfortunately, due to the new laws on contamination and saving gas rjules, it is no longer time for us and our guest to have 22/23 degrees on may, sorry but this is what we have it in Italy. Parking garage should costs 20 euros por day, not 25 as they payed.Thank you againKind regardsGianmauro

Charming little tucked away gem
Took a taxi directly from the train station to the front of this hotel for about €12. Completely worth it so you don’t have to try to find it. Our host was kind, patient and thorough. The property is cute as can be, and we were very pleased with our room. It was charming, had two beds, and a perfect little kitchenette. It was quiet and perfect, just what you would expect being in the heart of old town Bergamo. A short walk to anything and everything, and you should do yourself a favor and try out this little property instead of a larger hotel. Left tooearly to have breakfast, but I’m sure it would’ve been spectacular. **Make sure to communicate with the property out of time as far as arrival timing. We did not do this ahead of time, and was unaware their messages to me were going to my spam folder box. Also used the Hotels private car service for an early airport run the next morning, and I highly recommend that young man as well.

This is a charming bed & breakfast type room in a beautiful old building right next to Piazza Vecchia in the old town. Everything is close at hand, and all the restaurants we tried were very good with friendly and professional service. As tourists we still seemed to be treated as well as locals. Casa Mario Lupo host, Gianmauro, is extremely helpful, and courteous. Our room was large and perfectly functional, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is simple, but wholesome and satisfying. If arriving by train take a taxi to the property, unless you are determined to save a few euros and want to try the very crowded bus and then the funicular. We confidently recommend this property to anyone visiting the delightful town of Bergamo.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. There was a kitchenette, washing machine and a good sized bathroom. Also a fan for when it is warm. We were located on the top floor but there are also rooms on the ground floor for people with mobility problems. Breakfast was ok with fruit, bread with jam or ham and cheese on another day. Tea/coffee/juice and yogurt. Very central location.

I did fall in love with Bergamo and with his house
It was all perfect, from the booking over the initial contact, the service and personal care on site. It's a fantastic antic house, renovated with a lot of devotion. We loved our stay in Bergamo, thanks a lot!

Mysig vistelse på Casa Mario Lupo
Vi bodde en natt på Casa Mario Lupo och tyckte att både Bergamo och detta mysiga boende var över förväntan. Bra service, stort rum med ett litet kök och läget var perfekt. Vårt rum låg på första våningen och hade fönster in mot gården, så inte så mycket ljus men inte heller ljud som kom in. Förutom kyrkklockan! Frukosten var toppen och värden och hans familj var väldigt trevliga och tillmötesgående. Det enda som hade kunnat vara bättre var sängen som var av det hårdare slaget, vilket jag dock vet är vanligt i Italien.

Snabb visit i Bergamo
Ett fantastiskt familjärt hotell som har alla förutsättningar att få 4 stjärnor. Rummen är väldigt fina och originella. Skön säng. Lugnt område. Dessvärre hördes kyrkklockorna väldigt nära. Om de investerade i lite finare möbler skulle rummet bli helt fantastiskt. Frukosten serverades i rummet på det lilla matbordet när det passade oss. Det ligger mycket centralt i gamla staden i Bergamo. De tipsade om flera utmärkta restauranger i området.

Great spot in the old town
The whole experience at Casa Mario Lipo is terrific. The breakfast is a wonderful start to each day and staying in Citta Alta is great for when the crowds disappear. Highly recommended!

Great Stay great location great B&B. Also Gianmauro is kind and very helpful providing all information and assistance. Wi FI to be improved To be noticed that B&B is closed to the main church and you might get easily wake up by repeating sound of bells...

Fantastisk værtskab. Meget hjælpsom familie som sørger for en skøn og varierende morgenmad. En lille bil er en fordel mår man som her bor centralt i en middelalderby. Gratis parkering mulig indenfor borgens mure. En oplevelse vi gerne kommer tilbage til.

Diferente. Ninguna queja. Muy amables, nos ayudo mucho con recomendaciones. En el centro mismo. Habitacion comoda. Sin television, pero con radio/CD. Con cocina y nevera (pero major comer fuera!). Ducha bien. Limpio. 5 minutos andando desde la parada del autobus.
