Tilava 1hh. Rauhallinen. Metro vain 50 m. päässä. Tekninen museo 200 m päässä. Lähellä ei ole ravintoloita eikä kauppoja.

Nice location and good quality-price ratio
The hotel has a great location next to the crossing of U-bahn lines 1 and 2. The staff is very friendly. Hotel WiFi is uselessly slow (downloading a regular image file can take minutes) and I needed to scrub off some brown dirt from the shower head and water boiler before use. Otherwise the room was clean and the beds were nice, even though our room was quite inexpensive.

Hyvät kulkuyhteydet
Rauhallinen hotelli lähellä metroa joten liikkuminen oli helppoa. Hotelli on melko "yksinäisellä" paikalla, eikä lähellä ole muita hotelleja, tai ravintoloita mutta alue vaikutti turvalliselta. Vieressä iso puisto. Shoppailemaan ja kauppaan/ravintoloihin pääsi kuitenkin helposti metroilla jotka muutaman minuutin päässä hotellista. Ystävällinen palvelu ja siistit huoneet.

A clean hotel very close to a metro station.
My holiday in Berlin was very nice. The hotel was kind of a simple, but very clean and handy. Hotel personnel was helpful. I liked Berlin and 5 days was just too short time to get to know Berlin. I enjoyed techno clubs and also visiting on a center around Brandenburg gate was kind of a emotional experience, because so much history comes so close and real.

Olemme pariskunta kaupunkilomalla. Berliinissä oli mukavasti nähtävää, varsinkin Alexander plazilla, mukava kauppahalli ja tietysti paljon historiaa.

Hyvä hotelli kahden metrolinjan risteyksessä, eli todella helppo liikkua eri puolille kaupunkia. Erittäin hyvä ja monipuolinen aamiainen, mm. mehiläiskenno josta sai tuoretta hunajaa. Viikonloppuna myös kuohuvaa tarjolla. Hotelli myös erittäin siisti. Ympäristö ei ehkä kaikkein viihtyisin eikä lähistöllä ollut kahviloita, ravintoloita tai kauppoja mutta Potsdamer Platsille vain noin 10-15 minuuttia kävellen ja metrolla pääsi nopeasti mihin vain.

Hotellin sijainti ol meille oikein loistava. Välittömässä läheisyydessä oli puistoja lenkkeilyyn, metroasema oli aivan vieressä ja myös kävelymatkat olivat lyhyet mm. Brandenburg Torille ja Checkpoint Charlielle. Huone ja hotellin tilat olivat siistit, ilmastointi huoneessa toimi ja palvelu oli ystävällistä. Aamiainen on lisämaksusta ja oli hyvä.

Kind service at a very good price
Just next to the underground station, so you get to kreutzberg in a few minutes. The woman working as a receptionist at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I also liked that the beds were made loose and not too tight, as often is the case in many hotels. If the sheets are too tight you have to make the bed all over again when you go to sleep. Also the breakfast was nice with vegan options like fruits and berries.

Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde ja sijainti
Vietimme kuusi yötä Berliinissä kahden aikuisen lapsen kanssa, 2 x 2hh. Hotelli oli mainio, huoneemme vierekkäin yhteisellä tuulikaapilla varustettuna, ubahn vieressä. Aamiainen oli tosi runsas ja monipuolinen- mutta Berliinin hintatasoon kallis: 16 € per nuppi. Hotellin ympäristö oli hiukan ankea, mutta kiskoja pääsi äkkiä kauemmas.

The hotel was closed when our party arrived, they were having what looked like planned maintenance - not a surprise issue. We were rebooked into a hotel 20 minutes drive away, meaning we had to incur over €100 of costs commuting between the new hotel and our place of work, which is a short walk from the Mercure. The only reason we booked this hotel was the proximity to our workplace. We should have been given the opportunity to rebook somewhere close by - there are plenty of hotels around the same area as the Mercure which would have been far more suitable.

we booked this hotel two months in advance through Expedia because looked like it was affordable, well located, had refrigerator, coffee maker among others, everything was confirmed, but.... when we arrived to the hotel, the hotel was open but empty, providing no service at all, the only remarkable thing was the receptionist found us another hotel nearby and sent us there in a cab, but with smller rooms, no refrigerator, no coffee machine in the room, so, ¿What can I say about this hotel? probably nothing but what I just described... Not coming back for sure!

Having stayed at many Mercure Hotels in the past then I expected something much better than this. I'm sure that the rooms were considered nice around 30 years ago, but clearly they haven't been refurbished since then. The carpets in the corridors were filthy. The only saving grace was the Breakfast Room which was fairly new, and well laid out with a nice ambience. The breakfast itself was good too, as were the staff. Overall though, I was very disappointed and won't be staying there again.

OK for the price and short stay in Berlin.
Hotel was OK. Clean with good breakfast buffet. Location is OK too if you are OK walking 25 min to Checkpoint Charlie and another 5 to 10 min to the Brandenburg Gate. Rooms seems a bit dated, but spacious enough and most importantly clean. Apart from soap/shampoo, no toiletries like tooth paste, shower hats etc. are provided. Travel from the main airport is OK too. Train station just outside the hotel. Technology Museum is only 5 min walk. No shops and caffes in the immediate vicinity. Overall OK for our short 3 nights stay in Berlin.

L’hotel è una bella struttura nel complesso ed è in una posizione comoda e tranquilla, purtroppo la mia non può essere una valutazione positiva perchè essendo molto caldo, la camera era sempre caldissima e senza aria condizionata risultava veramente difficile dormire, se non impossibile! È Assurdo che facciano pagare le bici anziché fornirle ai clienti gratuitamente.

Die Lage des Hotels ist für touristische Zwecke hervorragend. Excellente Verkehrsanbindung, schnell im0 Zentrum und dennoch ruhige Umgebung. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Frühstück im neuen Frühstücksraum war sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind ansprechend, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen!
