UUSI VUOKRAUS! Croft Cove Lamoka -järvellä

Tervetuloa Croft Coveen Lamoka-järvelle!  Tämä mukava 3 makuuhuoneen ja 2 kylpyhuoneen koti nukkuu 8 ihmistä ja on juuri sopivan kokoinen täydelliseen viikkoon tai viikonloppuun järvellä.

Tällä kodilla on rikas sukututkimus useiden sukupolvien ajan, ja se on päivitetty moderniksi ja viihtyisäksi järvetaloksi.  Tämä paikka sijaitsee rento järvetietä pitkin ja pienessä järvenrannan naapurustossa. Tämä on juuri sitä mitä ajattelisit kuvitellessasi järvenrantayhteisöä.

Talossa on iso, hiljattain rakennettu kansi, joka kietou talon ympärille ja näkymä järvelle.  Kävellen talon puolella olevasta pääsisäänkäynnistä pääset suurelle olohuonealueelle, jonka ikkunoista on näkymät järvelle, mukavat sohvat ja runsaasti tilaa pelata pelejä tai katsella televisiota.

Keittiö ja ruokailutila on sijoitettu olohuoneen taakse ja keittiö on täysin varustettu keittiövälineillä, astioilla, laitteilla jne.  Keittiössä on söpö pieni kahvinurkka, josta voit panimoida suosikkeihisi.  Ruokailutila on osa keittiötä ja siinä on liukuovet ulos kannelle, jossa voit nauttia ateriasi ulkosalla ruokapöydässä tai grillata suosikkilihaasi kaasugrillillä.  Kannessa on myös oleskelualue ja se on täydellinen paikka kahvikupille.

Pääkerroksessa on täysi kylpyamme, aivan keittiössä ammeella / suihkulla.

Yläkerrassa löydät massiivisen Master-sviitin.  Emme vitsaile, kun sanomme massiivista.  Tässä makuuhuoneessa on katedraalin katot, suuret kaapit, valtavat ikkunat näkymät järvelle, pieni toimistotila, Futon ja king-size-vuode.  Tämä on asiakkaiden valintahuone!   Sviittiin on kiinnitetty iso isäntäkylpy, iso suihkukaappi ja kaksinkertainen pesuallas.  Master-sviitissä on myös oma parveke, jossa ranskalaiset ovet, jotka avautuvat parvekkeelle .... valittu paikka aurinkoa tai tähtiä aurinkoa laskiessa.

Makuuhuoneessa 2 on täysikokoinen sänky vyöhykkeellä ja se on aivan käytävän ulkopuolella Master-sviittiin.  Makuuhuone 3 sijaitsee makuuhuoneen 2 vieressä (portaiden yläosassa) ja siinä on king-size-vuode. 

Croft Covessa on noin 50 jalkaa omaa yksityistä järven julkisivu telakalla, jota olet tervetullut käyttämään loman aikana.  Veden reunassa on takka. Patio .... loistava paikka paistata joitain hot dogia tai muutama vaahtokarkki lasten kanssa.  

Croft Cove on täydellinen koti viikon pituiselle lomallesi järvellä perheen tai ystävien kanssa tai pidennettyyn viikonloppumatkalle, jota tarvitset elämässäsi.  Odotamme saavamme jäädä!

Beautiful home/location

This place was better than we even expected. Spacious and right on the lake with gorgeous views from both floors. Our neighbor was very kind and everything was very peaceful even with there being several close properties. Close to lots of attractions and endless possibilities for things to do on the water. We hope to return!

Wonderful family getaway spot

Our extended family trip in this home was wonderful - plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children. Very comfortable beds and a fully appointed kitchen. Great location, short drive to various wineries and family fun. This was our second year coming to this home and we would happily return!

Lakefront Getaway

Great lakefront home near lots of wineries, distilleries and breweries. Many local outdoor activities nearby not to mention the dock available right out the back door of this cute and comfortable lake house. We enjoyed the outside deck, fire pit and beautiful sunsets. We would definitely book again in the future. Just wish dogs were allowed we would utilize it more often.

The description on the site does not do this cabin justice. The lake is absolutely beautiful and quiet. Even though our weather turned on us, it did not deter the enjoyment one minute. The deck views are gorgeous and we sat out there every moment that we could. The house is spotless, comfortable, and it’s obviously loved. I have nothing bad to say about this vacation experience at all. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed right now.

Wonderful First Time Experience

We had never been to the Finger Lakes before, but because of this home, we will be certain to visit again in the future. Our only “real” issue was the smoke detector going off at random times; once late at night, and once early in the morning. However, the communication during these occurrences was spectacular. We are extremely grateful for the hospitality.

Wonderful vacation getaway

Our blended family had a great time in this lovely lake cabin! Plenty of room for all 7 of us, with lots to do in the surrounding areas. The hosts clearly care a lot about this property, everything was clean and well maintained. They provided many ideas for nearby attractions (including wineries, of course). We would absolutely visit again!

Waterfall Whirlwind

The original plan for this trip was to see Niagara Falls, but I saw some photos a friend took at Watkins Glen, and decided I had to go there too 😊 Croft Cove was a great location! Near to Watkins Glen and Watkins Glen State Park, Buttermilk Falls SP, Taughannock Falls SP, and all the Ithaca waterfalls. All were beautiful as were the sunsets over Lamoka Lake after we returned from our adventures each evening. Everyone needs to visit Glen Dairy Barn for ice cream! Our only complaint is we wish we had stayed an extra day just to chill at the lake!

Very cozy, but needs a few updates

Just about everything about the property is as advertised, but there were a few things that could use replacement/fixing/updating. On the excellent front - it’s a very comfortable home and the views/location are astounding. We had a great time lounging, playing games, and enjoying the views. The kitchen is also well-stocked, and had everything we needed. On the not-so-good side, I’d start with the water. Be prepared for a strong metallic odor. Not uncommon for well water, but it’s not something that’s very clear upfront. It would be great if the bottled water dispenser had a bottle provided. The couch in the living room also needs replacing. It sinks significantly when you sit on it and seems to have a broken support from what I can tell. The king bed in the second bedroom is also turned the wrong way so that it will fit in the room. It makes it difficult to sleep on it for someone that’s six feet or taller, as your feet hang off of the end. Another downside of the iron in the water is that the shower in the master suite just doesn’t put out enough pressure. The shower heads could use a good soaking in a CLR solution, as maybe half of the holes were clogged and wouldn’t put out water. Lastly, don’t rely on the futon in the master suite for an additional bed unless you move the cushion to the floor. It will tip over if you pull it out and try to sleep on it (we tried to put our teenager on it and had to move it to the floor). Ultimately, this would be the perfect vacation home if a few things were updated and the situation with the water was made clearer upfront.

very nice

the house is nice. The master bedroom and bath is beautiful, with a fantastic view of the lake. We had bad weather, a lot of rain. We like to swim and spend most of our time in the water on this annual girls' vacation. We weren't able to do that here because of the weather. Also, there is a lot of green growth at the waters' edge, which made the swimming a little creepy. Still we enjoyed our time together in this house.

Laughs and Memories at Lamoka

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at Croft Cove and we hope it’s not our last. We’ve decided it’s one of our favorite places to stay. the standard to follow

This home was great right on the lake and a beautiful house, I was very glad we went with this house because during our stay we had 3 rainy days. This made for a great time even indoors. On our nice days, we went swimming, taught our son how to fish, and grilled on the deck it was a perfect spot for a family. The swimming is great, easy concrete steps into the water and it is about 4 feet deep at the end of the dock, after that it was over my head at 6'3" in no time. So it was a very gentle slope into the deep water and a perfect spot by the steps for young children learning how to swim to practice. Don't hesitate to spend time at croft it is amazing.

Casual lake trip with friends

We had a wonderful time visiting the finger lakes with our 2 young boys and close friends and their young kids. The view off the deck was beautiful, house was clean, host was helpful, and check in/out was a breeze. We wish there was a paddle board/kayak so we could get out on the water but we had so much fun grilling and fishing off the dock. Overall a wonderful stay and can’t wait to go back!

Mini vacation

We enjoyed the property very much. The rooms were clean. The kitchen was well stocked. The rain shower in the main bathroom was awesome. We had a lovely campfire on the lakefront patio. The fish were jumping and the critters were lively. And there were many wineries within an easy drive. I was sorry to leave.
