Definitely only 3 star. Clean and tidy but could be more generous with towells, cleaning products and bathroom supplies. For the nightly rate we paid it was pretty basic.

The location was great however the beds were uncomfortable. There wasn’t any linen or towel’s provided for our children. Had to pay an extra fee to borrow a beach towel. It suited our needs for the three nights but way overpriced for one level above ‘glamping’

The property is in a great location close to everything at Point Lookout and bus services if you are not driving. The accommodation was clean and tidy with a full kitchen if needed. Great cafe on the location.

We stayed at Villa 57. Property was clean on arrival and comfortable but could do with a paint/refresh/renovation, especially bathrooms. Needs more regular pest treatment - ants & cockroaches. Top floor areas not very stable as bed moves/sways when people are walking about on same level. On-site reception/management was helpful.

We had a great stay at the Allure Resort. We stayed in a beach shack and we’re pleasantly surprised at how spacious and clean our shack was. It had pretty much everything we needed for our long weekend and the little deck outside with the baby Weber bbq was especially useful. The shack was lacking in a few utensils which would have been useful (scissors/bbq tongs) and you’ll need to bring washing up liquid for anything that won’t go in the dishwasher but otherwise we were very pleased with everything. Our unit (no 20) was right next to the pool so there was some noise and early in the morning so if this will bother you email the resort before your stay and request a quieter unit (they are very responsive to emails). All in all we would definitely recommend a stay at Allure!

Great holiday experience
Everything was great except for the thirteen steps up to the mezzanine bedroom - especially in the middle of the night! The other outstanding thing was the wonderful trees and bushes surrounding each private deck and the variety of bird life and bird calls.

The deluxe villa we stayed in was very run down & quite old. The lamp shade & cushions on the couch were mouldy. It definitely needs an upgrade. It would be okay for 1 night for business if you didn’t care about aesthetics. The kids bedroom was separated from the villa by a deck, which would be great for teens but our 8 year old son was too scared to sleep in there on his own. The pool was heated though which was great for the kids. I stayed here years ago & it was great but I’m guessing due to covid the place was let go abit.

The Deluxe Beach Shack my wife and I stayed in was wonderful! Perfect for a couple, it was well furnished and the location was really nice, backing onto the native bushland. Maya was wonderful - very friendly and helpful and made our stay all the more enjoyable. We loved it and will certainly be back!

Love every moment of staying at allure. The beach shacks are excellent with every single item provided you can think of including a beach shelter. Close to all the beaches and a cafe on site and nearby. Bush behind with lots of birdlife. Can't wait to stay again soon!

The beach shack was ok. The layout was good, but the furniture is a bit tired and dated. The bed was as hard as a rock and so was the sofa. Both cheap, nasty pieces of furniture. But the accomodation is in a good location and staff were helpful.

Very cute loft apartment with everything you need. Loved the very well equipped kitchen and Foxtel. The bathroom was quite cold so would not stay here again in winter. And there was no wifi or phone reception at the apartment.

Great location, accommodation lovely though do check specifics of units as some are wholely unsuitable for young kids (massive drop off from decking with no barriers). Staff very helpful and welcoming. Pool a bit underwhelming and hemmed in but who needs it when beach so close! Overal, great.

Unfortunately the bed and lounge was very uncomfortable but everything else was good and compact for a studio loft. Back porch had a lot of bird poo and greasy bbq which didnt make it very enviting..

Location location location!
It was a perfect size home for a couple, nice and tidy kitchen and bed, cozy lounge room and the balcony face to the bush that you can see/listen lots of birds and wallabies :-) BUT the best of all, the location was the most impressive part of this trip! It was only 2mins walk from beautiful Cylinder beach. We could see lots of people driving down from their hill top accommodations, drying themselves before jump in the car and all other hassles while we were simply walking back home in our wet swimsuits ;-) It’s close to most of the restaurants nearby, all walking distance and wood fire pizza shop is right next to it so you can just chill at home if you’re under the weather, which we did when we had hang over one day lol
