Doable sleepover
Single room, multiple nights. As advertised except for aircon which is a fan not aircon. Neighbourhood is quite okay but there's absolutely nothing - not even shops - nearby. Nearest train station has a 24/7 freak and junkie show going on. :) If it weren't for the missing aircon, I'd recommend the place.

Hotel with bed bugs!!!!! Avoid this!
I usually try to be positive with reviews but i don't have anything nice to say about this hotel. Me and my boyfriend got bed bugs from this hotel!! This hotel turned out to be expensive because we needed to see doctor after that and have to buy medicines for us. Our skin looked very horrible after this hotel!!!! And after we left we spent all day doing laundry to get rid of the bugs. Please make yourself a favor don't go this hotel!! I really feel bad that i stayed here. I hope hotels.com don't anymore advertise this hotel :(

We arrived to check in to be greeted with a ‘back in five minutes’ sign at reception. Unfortunately that 5 minutes was more like a half hour so we changed from our travel in the communal bathrooms as we couldn’t access our own room and had a time to be at a gig that evening. Really disappointing.

we were in a non smoking room, but putting on the aircon sucked in smoke from the downstairs open area where smokers gathered. also that made sitting on the balcony out of the options.

It’s such a great property and the staff is awesome too. They really need more parking or a shuttle to a car park or something. The shared bathrooms could be more kept up but overall it is a fantastic place.

Standard twin bed room with share bathroom. (ie One toilet and one shower on my floor.) Free wifi available. Room also included tea, coffee, kettle, bar fridge, ceiling fan, (cold water tap) sink, mirror. Basic table & 2 chairs. Basic open wardrobe, drawers. No locker facilities. Reasonable walking distance to shopping/dining areas and train station. Reception had some basic items for sale, but not accessible after hours. Overall it was OK for a short stay, basic but reasonably clean and secure.

Neat, clean, tidy and comfortable with some onsite parking available. Close to Fortitude Valley and nightlife if that’s your thing. Receptionist was very friendly and even called me to share that parking had become available which was above and beyond. Served my needs for a comfy, safe place to sleep on an overnight stay.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean enough. The place is very old, and the door to my room didn't lock properly. Poor communication from staff is my biggest gripe thiugh I tried to call the day beforehand during office hours to ask if an early check-in was possible as I had an early flight into brisbane. Thanks for your review Breanna, I'm sorry we didn't respond to your phone message. Our check-in time is strictly after 2pm, we do not allow early check-in unless the room was vacant on the previous night, We do this to allow the housekeepers a fair amount ot time to make sure the rooms are cleaned properly. So unfortunately we wouldn't have been able to accomodate your request in this case.

Its beautiful outdoor area. And very nice lady in the reception. I felt like the cleanliness of the bathroom could be slightly improved. Comparing april 2022 it was absolutely spotless but in oct 2023 felt the cleanliness though it was getting done every mornings i felt like as the day went in the night sometimes wasn't great which didnt seem to happen the previous year but maybe the previous year had more females on vacation and females usually keep things clean and smelling good even when they use them like the toilet for example.

Being in the CBD, the hotel is very centrally located. Our room and bathroom was neat and tidy - however both could use a decent renovation. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. Thank you all!

Hi Geoffrey, I'm sorry you feel that way, You should adjust your expectations on when you are paying 90 per night. The room is designed for a single person and has all the amenities required for that, it is basic. But the price is also very reasonable. We are located next to 2 train stations and multiple bus routes as well as many shops and restaurants all with in a 5 minute walk. - This may not be up to your expectations I'm sorry for that.

You get what you pay for. however I think no matter how cheap the hotel, feeling safe is a bare minimum. When we returned after hours we had people outside the hotel asking us to let them in who probably didn’t even stay there. We stayed in the loft which was isolated upstairs by a stairway leading to our room. at 2am we had someone trying to open our locked door. Maybe a sign indicating that the door leads to a bedroom would be good as you wouldn’t know it’s a guest room just looking at it. windows didn’t shut fully and couldn’t lock. Receptionist was lovely and the staff seemed nice when we saw them.
