8/10
We stayed here for a week as a couple.
The hotel is a cute small boutique hotel in old town. Its location is great as the Sunday night market is literally starting in front of it.
You find good restaurants, massage places and little grocery/ konbini stores just a few minutes walk afar.
Our room was on ground floor with direct access to the pool and a private little sitting area outside. Unfortunately, other guests were using our terrace when swimming. Not the hotel‘s fault but a ‚reserved‘ sign for the table would be nice.
Bed was comfy and room size was really nice. Nevertheless, in our room 8710 the water faucet made some issues and made some loud noise out of nowhere. The facility guys came but it wouldn’t get any better.
The hotel provided us with vouchers for lunch & sticky rice as well as a beautiful welcome drink. In addition, all guests an access bottled water, coffee, tea, snacks & ice cream 24/7.
The breakfast selection is nice and you can select from an a la carte menu, too. However, if the hotel is busy and/or you come late for brekkie the items on the buffet will not be restocked. That can be improved.
The hotel offers free excursions to temples, night markets & cooking classes. We did not participate but I think it is a very generous touch.
As a tourist, I did not like
That the hotel key would state the hotel’s name and room number. In case the key gets lost or bag stolen someone can easily enter your room.
