The property has a great location, close to the Cherry Creek Mall, the stores in Cherry Creek and excellent restaurants. We also loved the champagne/beer reception when we arrived. The heated rooftop pool and hot tub were nice, as well.
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our room. We paid for a "Great King," which was supposed to have a "city view," more living space and a larger sofa than a "King Den" room. The view from our room was the wall of a building that was very close to our hotel. The "sofa" was barely the size of a small loveseat. When I called the front desk to inquire whether or not we actually were given a "Great King" room the woman at the front desk was very rude and dismissive. She said, "Yep, that's a Great King." However, the other clerks we encountered at the front desk were extremely friendly and professional. ( Another young woman and two different young men.)
The refrigerator in our room didn't work. When I called the front desk about this, the same rude woman said, "It's not really a refrigerator, it's just a cooler," although it looked like a refrigerator and didn't seem to be cooling at all. She then asked if I wanted a refrigerator and I said yes, and a different refrigerator was brought to our room while we were gone.
The mattress was saggy and uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. There was no body wash in the shower or anywhere in the bathroom. Instead there was a bottle of body lotion in the shower, in place of body wash.
