After a stroll through the beautiful old town or a harbor tour on a passenger boat, end the day comfortably on the sofa of your houseboat and take in the sunset on the horizon. Enjoy the finest maritime harbor flair in the rum city of Flensburg with a stroll along the harbor promenade or through the old town, dotted with many historic buildings and beautiful churches. During the summer months, the Nordermarkt, with its street cafes and restaurants, brings a Mediterranean flair to the fjord city. You should also always have time for a relaxing break with a view of the water and a delicious fish sandwich after an extensive shopping spree on Schleswig-Holstein's longest shopping mile. Also on the peninsula, facing the outer fjord, is the beautiful, fine sandy Holnis "Drei" beach with its approximately three-kilometer-long, natural promenade. This bathing and spa beach is considered the most beautiful beach on the Flensburg Fjord.
