The waffle mix container seems to never be cleaned they pull it out and mix it themselves and it had old nasty crusty stuff on the end and inside the container. The syrup was an old bottle of like Mrs. Butterworths that they refill and the cap was nasty and had stuff stuck to it. The cap was also broken and the what I believe is the owner was tidying up and the cap fell off and landed on the ground. He then just picked it up and put it back on the bottle. Fortunately at least another customer saw it too and went and took the cap off and threw it in the trash after the owner left. I understand saving money and making use of reusable containers. But that doesn’t mean things shouldn’t be cleaned regularly. The metal utensils used for the waffles were also seemingly never cleaned. They had the same stains and crud on them every day. I had stayed here previously and these were the conditions before. I had brought it up to them before when checking out but still the changes haven’t been made. Speaking of my last stay when I was walking in one night the owner or franchisee whatever he is that stays on the first floor in the furthest northwest room, came out of his room when some kids were running up and down the hallway he was in his underwear just standing and staring at the kids. It was rude the way he was standing and staring and also disgusting as he was only in his underwear. I believe the parents of the children said something to the person at the desk but I’m not sure.

This is the best low end motel in my experience doing budget accomodations. Sure, it could use some updates, and maybe a good deep clean, but it's very comfortable and provided everything we needed in a pinch. I've relied on this location several times throughout the past decade and it's always come through.

Nice for the price
The hotel was comfortable to stay in. Our room was fairly clean - the bathroom walls looked like they needed a wipe down. Our family enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The biggest disappointment was the pool was closed for maintenance.

The property is functional but dated. The sink drain did not function up and down so it drained slow. The carpet looked recent but everything else was dated. There were no usb receptacles in any of the outlets.

Check in was easy and fast. The front desk lady was very pleasant and friendly, and recommended a restaurant about 5 minutes walk away (The Blue Sky Pancake House) - one of the best meals I have had on the road. Highly recommended and I will definitely keep returning.

No one was t the desk when we tried to check in at 2 pm. The pager system the sign said to use was laying on the desk. The pool, elevator, and water fountain were not useable, needing repair. The ceiling fire alarm was missing in the room and there were dirty socks behind the door. when we went to breakfast the person at the desk ignored us, did not greet us. Will not stay here again.

The room was very clean and staff pleasant and efficient. The alarm clock was not working--didnt even have a plug! The door needed to be pulled shut. It was not easy. We were down early for breakfast and there were no napkins. Some bananas or apples would be nice.

Very nice and inexpensive, even had a nice continental breakfast, including waffles with wafflemaker! Lots of other motels don't serve a decent continental breakfast anymore since covid! It was slightly noisy they were having roof worked on but didn't bother us to much.

First room had someones bodily fluid on the the bedding i have pictures. bathroom nasty and had cigarette burns all around it. One of the worst places i have ever been.

I am not usually a complainer
I don't have huge requirements when it comes to hotels. Basically as long as its clean and the air conditioning works, I can deal with it. The rooms in this hotel look exactly like the pictures. So I was pleased at first. However, the efforts at cleaning the room once you got a closer look were completely unacceptable. The floors didn’t look like they had been vacuumed at all, including food from previous guests, the toilet bowl had a ring around the water line that was not mineral build up, it would have wiped off easily with a toilet brush and some cleaner, there was dried toothpaste from previous guests on the counter, there was bubble gum stuck to one of the headboards, and the coffee packages were sticky. The only reason we didn't immediately check out was because the sheets were clean and there was no sign of bugs. Plus, we had already paid so we didn't have much choice unless we wanted to eat the cost. Had the sheets not be clean I would have done just that. Weirdly, the sheets were some of the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel, even nicer ones.

Piles of dead bugs in the bathroom and in the sink shower was gross with stuff clogging drain asked to be moved to a hamdicap accessible room and was told none was available but the person in our group called 15 minutes later and was able to remt the room all of a sudden otherwise the receptionist was just lazy and rude

It was not an enjoyable stay. The shower rod was hanging slightly, so the shower curtain would slowly open as you were showering. The pool was ice cold and salty. The breakfast was nothing fancy, but the cold cereal was stale and the syrup for the Belgian waffles left a horrible after taste in your mouth.
