Secret Garden Cottage nestles in the heart of Fowey, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Fore Street in the quiet pedestrian walkway of Bull Hill, a minute’s walk from shops, restaurants and pubs. This lovely cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and benefits from full central heating. The front door opens to a light and airy living space with original exposed stone fireplace housing a traditional Cornish range (not in use) with heavy oak mantle. A well equipped, farmhouse style kitchen has an oak dining table chairs and a French window opens onto a wooden balcony overlooking rooftops to the river, with bistro table and chairs. A spiral staircase leads down to the bedrooms and shower room. The staircase is narrow but there is a hatch to allow access for any large items of luggage. Both bedrooms, one with king size bed and one with double bed, are fully carpeted, with fitted wardrobes and oak furniture. Hidden behind a high stone wall across the lane is a private garden with pergola, flowers, vines, fruit trees and spring bulbs. Steps lead up to terraces with fine views of the estuary, where one can sunbathe, snooze in the shade, or dine al fresco.

Accessibility:  Flat entrance off the street, however inside is a spiral staircase and the garden is accessed via uneven steps (not as suitable for non-mobile people or children under 12yrs). 
Kitchen & Utilities:  Ceramic hob, electric fan oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Table and chairs seating 4 and French door to balcony area with table and chairs.
Nearest beach:  0.5 miles.
Nearest amenities:  0.1 miles.
Outdoors:  Garden accessed across the lane and via approx. 20 garden steps (please be careful of uneven surface). Beautiful patio area with pergola, Flowers, vines, fruit trees and spring bulbs. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden, but should be aware that steps may be uneven and can be hazardous when wet, so please enjoy at your own risk.
Parking:   Cars can pull in to unload at Bull Hill steps just 10 yards away. Short stay car parking available on Albert Quay nearby. Further local public parking available nearby. 
Family facilities:  None provided. 
Pets:  No pets allowed, sorry. 
General:  Free WiFi provided, electricity and gas included; gas fired central heating.
Important notes:  No smoking, PLEASE NOTE - no children under 12 years because of spiral staircase and uneven steps to the garden area.
