The Creek! Great quiet waterfront home with1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchen and living room amenities. Launch your kayak, paddleboard, or bring your small boat. (low bridge with shallow water will not allow access to large boats, or boats with tops, towers, windshields etc. Flats boats, jon boats, surface drives etc work fine) Walk to Freezer, Shed / Monkey bar < 1/2 mile. husband purchased a fishing rod, although he was unsuccessful in catching fish due to the small hook size. He did, however, encounter a small alligator that showed an interest in the red and white bobber. We spent considerable time outdoors that week, and the alligator made repeat appearances.It was a very relaxing vacation and would stay there again when in the area.For some reason it would not let me post photos.

This is a great little place that is close to everything. Very quiet but walking distance to basically everywhere. Sam the host was amazing and went over and above to make sure I had the best possible stay. I will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed Thursday through Sunday. The house was quiet, clean and within walking or a very short driving distance to the places we love to go. The only concern we had was the booking process sent us the wrong property information, which in turn led to wrong codes to get in and Wi-Fi codes. But, these were easily sorted out within a few minutes of contacting the property manager. Understandably, it was a technical glitch. Just double check your correspondence after booking for now! Thank you for a nice place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was great and everything worked really well. Location was very nice just a block from the freezer restaurant and McRaes Shed was very close. Very quiet. It was a little too chilly for us to kayak but it would have been very convenient if the weather had been better. We would consider coming back if the occasion happens.

Perfect little place for two! Very clean and comfortable. The a/c felt amazing after each long day in the heat! There is plenty of room to park a boat trailer, with some experience maneuvering as there's not a lot of room to turn around a larger trailer. We brought our 20'center console with Tower and launched it each morning (can't get to the house in the water with our boat as it's too tall to fit under the bridge). Will definitely be back. This is a great place!

We were in Homosassa for scalloping and this property was perfect. It is a great location to walk or haul trailer/boat to marina. We had plenty of room to park our car and trailer. The creek in front of house is beautiful and provided a great setting for sitting either on the sofa inside or screened porch. Bed and bathroom were comfortable. We will book this property again.

Like the fact, the freezer restaurant was walking distance, McCray was very close All the little Shops in the surrounding area and the fact that we went during the week was fabulous all the congestion and the monkeys on the island Entertaining it was an overall great relaxing getaway The accommodations were very roomy uncomfortable Oh, we just didn’t know what to do with the trash that was our only concern

The property is at the end of a dead end steet. It is very quiet and private. Threre is a boat ramp which works well for a kayak and even for a small boat. The canal provides a quick access to the Homosassa River. The area is vast and I would recommend a GPS when venturing out into the bckcountry. There are many beautiful areas to explore and many of the native species to see including manatees, dolphins, ospreys, eagles, annhingas, herons, ibises and other bird species. The tides are tricky and it would be best to get information regarding tides from the local outfitters. The rental space is comfortible and has new and functional appliances. There is a supermarket about four miles away and several small stores nearby.
