I stayed at this property many years ago and though the property was conveniently located I found the rooms very old fashioned. One of my relatives told me that the hotel had a makeover and was clean with nice bedrooms. I decided that as I was going to London for one night, and wanted something close to the Jewish neighbourhood and also close to the M1 motorway I would take a chance, and booked a room.
What a surprise, the hotel has undergone a total refitting, and I understand that there are more changes in the pipeline. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. I was impressed with the quality of soaps in the room and the coffee and teas. I think that in this category of hotels I would put it in the excellent marks.
If there is one thing I would recommend it would be that there should be a mirror near the seating area in the rooms, as I needed to stand while applying makeup, (this is just my opinion)
I was impressed with the service, and the kosher breakfast was very good
