We stayed at Park Grand Paddington Court for 4 nights and the visit was overall very good. Location is great, short walking distance from both Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate tube stations as well as Paddington train station (Elizabeth Line to Heathrow Airport). Surroundings are nice and no significant noise from the street.
Hotels in this area are usually renovated in old town houses, so the corridors are narrow, rooms and bathrooms very small and rooms may be situated in several different buildings. This seems to surprise some of the guests, but is common in this area. We've stayed in similar hotels here before, so we knew what to expect.
Our room was on the opposite side of the road from the reception building. Very steep and narrow set of stairs to 4th floor. But the room itself was suprisingly spacious and peaceful with nice view over the roofs.
Bathroom was very small and bed very soft (I prefer hard matress). Room was quite cold (very common in Britain too), but we slept well.
Breakfast was ok, would like more vegetarian options though. Breakfast room was situated in the basement floor and was quite packed some mornings. They ran out of clean plates and glasses during peak times at breakfast.
The staff was very polite and helpful. Special thanks to the gentleman at the reception who helped our luggage up to our room when we arrived.
Hotel needs some updating (not 4 star), but in British standards our stay was good for the money we paid.
