Es un resort amplio, recomiendo la zona Prestige Suites antes que el resort normal. Conexión directa con la playa, habitación muy amplia, mini cocina, dos baños, cama muy comoda, buenas vistas y personal de 10!

Accueil à la réception : 0 Aucune communication. Aucune convivialité. Aucun sourire. Quand j'ai énuméré les problèmes au check-out, la réceptionniste m'a répondu : "vous aviez à venir me le dire" ! Non : dans 1 5*, on n'a pas à dire ! Les choses doivent aller de soi. Suite avec rooftop et jacuzzi : bien. Propre. Confortable. Mais : pb de clim, comment accéder au rooftop ? (montée d'escalier cachée par 1 rideau. Encore faut-il le savoir) 1 malheureux parasol d'1.30m alors que nous sommes 3 sur le rooftop de 40m2 (il y a pourtant des parasols déportés bien + grands ailleurs). 2 peignoirs, 2 verres, 2 paires de chaussons... Et, cerise sur le gâteau : 1 5* qui facture 50cl d'eau au restaurant le soir à 5.40€ (dès la 1ère bouteille ! en plein mois d'août, restreindre l'eau, bravo !) et 6.40€ au mini-bar de la chambre. Pas de carafe. Aucune carte des vins au restaurant réservé aux suites : il faut donc faire confiance au serveur qui propose 1 blanc ou 1 rouge. Impossible de choisir. On ne saura qu'en le goûtant. Facturé 30.40€. Nous avons donc décidé de prendre nos petits-déjeuners et dîners à l'extérieur : l'accueil des minorquins est fantastique ! Les produits servis sont frais, bien travaillés et les prix sont tout à fait corrects (1.20€ le litre d'eau pour la plage dans les supermarchés, 2.20 à 2.50€ dans les restaurants). Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas eu le choix que de prendre la 1/2 pension à l'Insotel. Nous avons perdu de l'argent mais avons sauvé nos vacances.

REVIEWING INSOTEL PUNTA PRIMA PRESTIGE SUITES AND SPA - Much more prestige than 'Insotel Punta Prima resort'. This is a small area of the hotel. Prestige members are able to use the resort facilities but the resort customers are not able to use the prestige facilities. - Nothing too much trouble for the staff team - A bar/live music for entertainment but you are able to go over to the main resort and enjoy the entertainment there including Mini Disco nightly - The rooms are newly refurbished and gorgeous! Large bathroom plus shower room. Living area, dining, kitchenette inc microwave. - Gorgeous surroundings, sea view, well kept - Could get sunbeds around the Prestige suites pool at any time during May half-term - a bonus and well worth the extra money

Great hotel for a FAMILY break - not peaceful!
Lovely comfortable accommodation not far from the airport. We liked the small kitchen in our room and 2 bathrooms - especially the shower with jets. Good facilities and close to local shops. The capital a short 20 minute bus ride. Best for families as we wanted a quiet break but despite being outside school holidays it wasn't as relaxing as we'd hoped. Marvellous breakfast but the house red wine in the Prestige Bar was awful!

The estate itself is nice but not a 5 star resort. We stayed in prestige: lovely grounds, with a view down a well gardened hill to the sea and lighthouse. Very green and pleasant villas. The rooms were spacious. They seemed old though and the worn paintwork suggested they have been rather neglected. We weren’t impressed by the general management and this is certainly not a 5 star grade hotel as it purports. On check in were we’re not offered any water, there was no one to take our luggage, we’re we’re not given any information about anything to help us orient ourselves (what time was breakfast, where it was, about the pool, the gym, etc, nothing at all). After hauling as a family with a toddler all our luggage in the heat it turned out the air con wasn’t working and the safe was closed. We called reception but it took hours for an engineer to come and who couldn’t speak English. He told us just to keep the windows closed and wouldn’t explain what the issue was with the controls. When I called back to reception got more help the man seemed at a loss to know how to help and maddeningly just said “keep trying”. One boiling night later we managed to get another engineer who admitted the aircon was broken but would be fixed that day. It wasn’t and we relied on fans the whole time. No one followed up on our repeated calls and complaints. Breakfast was fine. No concierge. Reception staff poorly trained. This is not 5 stars. Had I paid 4 star sums I would not have minded so much.

Super property with really helpful staff. We stayed in accommodation with rooftop hot tub and it was incredible - definitely worth the money.

La struttura è molto bella, ben organizzata e soprattutto pulita. L'estreno è molto ben curato. Le camere sono molto ben pulite, il personale è molto cortese e disponibile. Purtroppo però le camere sono molto vecchie e poco manutentate, addirittura abbiamo trovato coperte bucate come mangiate dai topi, e questo per una struttura 5 stelle non è ammissibile.

Il problema è che il nuovo design è hermosa e bien organizada, e la pulizia e la manutenzione del nuovo personale sono apprezzate. La sua opinione è preziosa per noi.Sin embargo, lamentamos deepe que haya scoperto las habitaciones en mal estado y anticuadas. Sus comments sobre las mantas dañadas son preocupantes y los broadcastiremos a nuestro equipo de mantenimiento para que puedan abordar thiste problema de mediato. ‘Nice Find’
Just back from a very relaxing week at Insotel Punta Prima Prestige and have to say that this place lived up to all that we had hoped it would be. Accommodation is spacious, comfortable and clean, although there were only the two of us in our suite so I’d imagine it may get more cramped with two more (children) using the pull out beds. Food is on a half board basis and it of very good quality offering a wide choice for both breakfast and evening meal. One tiny thing that for me personally would have made breakfast perfect is to include hash browns or fried potato, although to be fair we did have green beans, carrots and sweetcorn on offer for breakfast! The pool area is gorgeous with comfy sunbeds of which there were plenty. However we did think that the drinks were very pricey and therefore on our last couple of days we brought our own from our suite. All staff are extremely helpful and very friendly, there was always someone around if you needed them. This is always a massive plus for us. We did not think much of the beach, it was quite smelly and the sea certainly did not look inviting. There is a small parade which consists of a couple of supermarkets, restaurants/bars and some stalls. My tip would be to use one of these supermarkets rather than the one on the resort as we found the prices on resort far more expensive.

Large, well fitted out suites
Close to the airport, circa 15 minutes, but not apparently on a flight path. Check in simple and efficient with a brief rundown of the services on offer. Very close to the public beach with a small number of similar restaurants overlooking the sea. The hotel suites are large and well equipped, very clean although a touch dated and tired. The suites are located in prettily manicured and well looked after grounds and the swimming pool area is very nice, in good condition with very comfortable sun beds with parasols etc. The breakfast buffet is top quality with a very wide selection with chefs on hand to cook eggs and pancakes etc. We only ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel and the lunches by the pool were as bad as the breakfasts were good with major components of dishes missing or badly cooked.

Spacious accommodation ,peaceful setting
A lovely resort set in very well maintained gardens with beautiful sea views from most spots. We enjoyed spending early evenings on the spacious double balcony looking out to sea at the island and lighthouse offshore. The accommodation was excellent, large and well equipped. The only downside was that we were plagued by an extremely unpleasant sulphurous "rotten egg" smell. We reported it on two occasions and maintenance did come and investigate the plumbing but in our short stay were unsuccessful in removing it. It varied in intensity but did make time inside the suite (Room 6028) unpleasant at times, especially during the night. We took half board and were highly impressed with both the breakfast and buffet dinner. The range of food on offer was varied and very high quality. The staff both in the restaurant and the poolside bar were impeccable; very friendly and efficient. The pool was lovely, though not as large as it looked in the pictures. Although there was usually an adequate supply of sunbeds, and towels were provided, for a 5 star resort this could have been managed a bit better. A lot of towels were being left on sunbeds meaning it was difficult to tell which ones were free and only on one occasion did a young man come to try and help us as we were dragging the sunbeds around to get three together in the shade.

Spectacular venue on the ocean and close proximity to a beautiful beach. Paved path to the beach takes you by foot in 10 minutes. Rented a car, lots of close free parking. Room had all amenities advertised. Comfortable and clean but dated. Excellent pool facilities with pool side American menu. Check out firm at noon and shower facilities on site with towels and supplies such as shampoo to use before a late flight would have been welcomed and match the 4 stars. We found the breakfast buffet to be excessive and honestly would not do again. Simple a la cart better for me and the cost was lost on us. They would charge us extra to simply get an urn of coffee to take to our patio. This is a place to take young families and groups in my opinion. The Spa is not a huge feature for us so we did not take advantage of all the “resort” has to offer. There are many more resorts on Minorca that I would choose for a quiet, cultured experience.

Das Hotel macht einen abgewohnten Eindruck, es riecht muffig, die Möbel sind weder zeitgemäß noch hochwertig, wirkt insgesamt wie eine Unterkunft, deren beste Zeit lange vorbei ist. Diese Unterkunft noch mit 5 Sternen zu bewerten, ist nicht nachvollziehbar. Man fühlt sich wie in einem Hotel für Pauschalurlauber, jedoch wird man vergeblich nach Besonderem oder Exklusivem suchen. Das betrifft alle Teilbereiche des Hotelbetriebs, auch das Restaurant. Alle sind bemüht und nett. Das reicht allerdings bei Weitem nicht für die Luxusklasse aus.
