Sehr gepflegtes Hotel. Sehr schöne geräumige Zimmer. Der Standort ist ideal zur Besichtigung der Stadt. Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar an der Fußgängerzone.

La désinvolture du personnel est déroutante. Deux femmes de ménage hurlent dans le couloir et quand on leur demande ce qui se passe mettent en cause l'aspirateur. Rien ne va, pourquoi être deux pour passer un aspirateur? Pourquoi ne pas couper l'appareil plutôt que de hurler? Pourquoi les histoires personnelles des employés meritent detre partagées avec tout le monde? Le personnel de réception est en permanence devant la porte à fumer cigarette sur cigarette. Le lendemain au petit déjeuner, l'agent d'accueil est accoudé au bar, à parler avec ses collègues en tournant le dos au clients de l'hôtel qui arrivent. Il m'a fallu le contourner pour accéder à la salle. Très très étrange. Si la politique de l'hôtel est la décontraction, il conviendrait de prévenir les clients qui ont l'impression de déranger le personnel.

Nuit après un concert aux arenes
J ai réservé cette chambre car elle me semblait convenable pour une nuit en couple après en concert. Le cadre extérieur est sympathique. Le halle de l hôtel est spacieux et agréable. L enregistrement s est bien passé. La chambre est très spécieuse et bien agencée. La petite attention pour la st Nicolas nous a ravis. Toutefois ayant déjà goûté a l excellence d un hotel de luxe , nous avons eu l'oeil sur pas mal de choses. L accueil : Le personnel devrait faire un effort sur l accueil. Le sourire était légèrement mis de côté et on ne nous a pas calculé d entré quand nous sommes arrivé. Pour ma part, la réception a été sommaire. De même pour un retour dans l hôtel a une heure tardive ( suite a un concert). Pour un hôtel comme cela, je ne trouve pas normal que l on nous fasse attendre dehors 5 min avant d ouvrir les portes ( surtout quand il fait -3 degrés.) Le réceptionniste était peut être occupé mais quand même... Je trouve également qu une garantie de 330€ prise sur la cb ( heureusement pas débitée) ne soit pas rassurant. Le stationnement : 18€ pour garer sa voiture sur un parking aux places limitées, ça fait mal au ventre. Surtout vu le prix de la chambre, je ne trouve pas normal de devoir rajouter cela. Le parking devrait faire parti de la prestation. La chambre : Bien que propre dans l ensemble, je crois qu il faudrait approfondir les poussières. Ça été un plaisir pour moi d y laisser mon prénom sur le meuble TV. Hôtel tout de même sympa pas mal de choses à améliorer

We enjoyed our brief stay at La Citadelle. The hotel is very well situated in Metz within easy walking distance to the lively town. Our room was totally quiet and relaxing, well equipped and well lit. This was our second stay in this hotel and if we return to Metz we will stay here again.

Nice hotel away from busier parts of central Metz but still walka me to things. Room is good. If you like really firm beds this is the place for you. Ventilation was good for European standards. Decent breakfast buffet available Staff were excellent

This is a gem of an historical property to stay in with excellent gourmet restaurant, and situated in the middle of all the beautiful and interesting sites of the vieux centre-ville
