showing its age
The staff were lovely but getting food was terribly slow and not great food when it came. Hotel was being repainted but it all felt a little tired and a very hard bed.

Not bad
Our wedding anniversary trip. They upgraded our room to a suite free of charge. Rooms are a bit tired but comfortable. Breakfast ok ish bacon was tough and orange juice was squash. Not what you expect for £13. Would I stay again ? Possibly but not breakfast

Not clear directions to the reception. Parked in 1st car park realised not near to reception and have to use walking aid.

Very tired & dated hotel.
Arrived late after long drive from Manchester. Check in was quick and easy, however I was really disappointed at the state of the hotel. The photos online on this site are not representative of the current condition of the hotel. The common areas and my room were extremely dated, tired and in desperate need of updating in my opinion, and were nothing like what I expected. I would not have chosen to stay here had I known the reality.

Great service. Hot shower. Quite room. The front desk managed to source me and taxi quickly when I couldn't myself due to the king wait time.

Used this hotel to be close to Norwich airport for a flight. Didn't have much of a chance to use much of the hotel facilities as I was late in and earky out, but for the price and for what I needed, it was ideal. Would say that the check-in was monumentally slick. Perhaps 30 seconds!

Wouldn’t rush back
Staff at the hotel were friendly and efficient. Bar and restaurant quite pleasant. However, the rest of the hotel hasn’t been decorated or renewed for many years. So rooms were a good size but old fashioned. Carpets worn and bare in places. No lift to the first floor. However, the most disappointing part of the hotel was the function room. Still stuck in the 80s but with added Christmas decoration. Fairly lights on show, Christmas decs in the ceiling and huge red bows around the bar area. Overall stay was ok but wouldn’t rush back

One night stay for event. Staff and facilities excellent. Parts of building looking tired worn carpet in room. Toilets in City suite like I remember from school but clean.

What a let down
I was very disappointed with my stay it was very mucky in the corridor, it looked like it hadnt been hoovered in ages ! We get to our room to find it made up for 1 person and we had to ask for another set of towels ,the duvet was hanging off wasnt even tucked in ! Our problems were solved by the very friendly helpful receptionist cant fault her but not impressed !!

This is a very serviceable hotel, good for a short stay. The reception staff are very friendly, and the restaurant staff were also nice, but service was slow, probably due to staff shortages. The area the hotel is located in is not particularly appealing, but it is pretty convenient for accessing Norwich or surrounding areas. We would probably stay again.

Very tired hotel. Grubby and badly in need of a refurb. I gave up waiting at the bar for food and ordered a deliveroo. I booked here as a premium alternative to a prem inn - I made a mistake

Im reaaly not one for leaving reviews or taken mush notice of then, but this hotel is worn out scruffy and really not what i expected there is no way i would consider staying here again
