First, the location was a little bit hard to find out as it was in narrow lane. And we encountered an incident while checking in. This was my first time to visit Japan and we had no idea at all that the booking fee of the hotel Jay was counted based on the number of people! ! Even though it was the double-bed room (supposed for 2 people)!!! And the receptionist was Japanese, although she tried hard to explain the booking fee was just for 1 people only, we totally cannot understand how this would came! The only solution she offered was asking us to pay the DOUBLE fee which we cannot accept as this was totally out of our expectation! We tried to contact Expedia later by voice roaming to seek whether there was another solution to settle the problem. However, we didn't think the customer services from Expedia had helped us to negotiate with the hotel at all! They just called back the hotel for just a few minutes and the outcomes was just asking us to pay the DOUBLE fee again! What a worse idea! Even cancelling for part of the booking fee was not executed!@@ We were totally disappointed for the bad service from Expdiea since we called them for almost one hour! by voice roaming! No solution! Money wasting! also, the un-modifiable standpoint of the receptionist made me feel bad. We spent over 1 hour and tried to seek the better way to settle the problem but nothing changed. All is Double fee.....this trip was totally destoried........
