Dog Friendly....well, only if they make money by it. £15 per day per DOG charge on top of your room charge if you take a dog there. Yes, you can choose to have your breakfast in a corner table with two other tables and have your dog with you. Yes, you get a twee ''doggy welcome'' pack with a fleece, towel, bowl and feeding mat. Arghhh, what doggy person goes away without a bowl and towel etc. Instead of the lip service doggy sweet extras, how about putting the money toward a safe dog area to run them and let them off lead? I am still waiting for the explanation as to what you need to do extra for two or three dogs than one to deserve a 100% or larger increase in cost per day for extra dogs. Personally, I'd give this hotel a miss in the future and find a hotel via Dog Friendly or similar. Run by dog folk for dog folk, not for profit but for convenience. We shouldn't be the profit margin for mediocre hotels, rather the consistent patronage for genuinely dog friendly travel destinations.
