The Millennium reasort had many plusses. The staff was really helpfull and nice, and the location at the most centered location of the whole city was a big plus. But, this is still not a 5 or even 4 star hotel in it’s wildest dreams. When first arrived, I got a room that smelled like old cigarettes, with a view to a wall and leaking sink in the toilet. After changing rooms the tobacco smell was gone, but that didn’t make the room any better quality wise, just cleaner. The view was still bad, everything was really old and in a need of an update. When I booked the hotel, I was expecting at least a 4 star quality place (even though adverted as 5 star). But no, this hotel from inside of it is only 3 at tops, which comes around the good location but you can hear loud sounds through the night, unless you keep very loud old aircon on to conceal some of it. Old and in a need of an update rooms. Breakfast quality only being medium +. Not worth to pay the high season prices.
