L'endroit est situé au centre de Pétion-ville, facile pour le déplacement, personnel courtois Johanna, Leila, le petit déjeuner est appétissant et bien présenté dans des emballages, dès 6h30 on peut se réveiller pour prendre le petit déjeuner il y a deja quelqu'un sur place pour prendre la commande, il y a un restaurant qui est sur place ou on peut déguster des bons plats, Mne Viviane la propriétaire est a l'écoute des clients, elle s'est entretenue plusieurs fois avec moi pour me demander si tout va bien pour moi, j'avais besoin un service au bar, malgré le restaurant était déjà fermé, elle m'a proposé d'ouvrir le bar-restaurant pour pouvoir faire ma commande. Excellente communication et elle est très compréhensible. Je recommande fortement Allamanda

Very quiet hotel with an amazing, professional staff from the security guard, the reception desk, the restaurant, to the people who freshened up the rooms on a daily basis. The reception desk has very caring people, and Miss Vivianne (the owner) is an amazing/genuine person who ensures her guests are given everything they desire and will go off site to obtain it. There are plenty of markets closed by and everything is in walking distance. I’d say this is better than most high end hotels in the area because of the family like treatment the guests received at Allamanda. Everything is superb, cleaned, with amazing interior decoration!

This is the third time that I stayed in Allamanda. The hotel employees were very hospitable and nice as always. This time I was given a bigger signle room in the older building. The floor was always very clean and comfortable, while bed-side tables had a bit dusty. Personally I prefer more lightings in the room, as I work with a computer in the room. Nevertheless, room-pricings are very good for its quality, and for many problames in Haiti, they are doing very well. Especially I love the hospitality of the staff.

Good accomodation,helpful friendly staff however the accomodation is overpriced for the so-called upmarrket area. The location is amongst over crowed street markets which are extreemely dỉty. Strong wifi, good breakfast

We were so glad we were referred to this hotel! The owners were gracious, and staff was attentive. The property was clean, and in a good location with 2 groceries in close walking distance. Also in very close proximity to some great restaurants that we were able to try, in addition to the excellent one on site (we were in Haiti for a 2-week stay so we wanted to try some local restaurants). We will definitely recommend Allamanda Hotel to others that we know traveling to the area!

My experience at this hotel was fantastic and more than what I expected. Haiti is a poor country and I really did not expect much. But, I was pleasantly surprise by the kindness, the extraordinary service, and the care on fulfilling all my request. I will go back to this hotel again for these reasons: - Free Full Hot Breakfast - Free Wi-Fi - Ground transportation for a very minimal fee - Ability to rent a car right on the hotel ground with chauffeur if needed. I thank all the staff and the owner of Allamanda Hotel for all they have done to make my stay amazing and relax.

Wonderful hotel. The owner Vivienne (possibly wrong spelling) was an AMAZING host. She really looked after us and was INCREDIBLY generous with her time! To be honest, if you are staying in Port-au-Prince, this is really important. A larger hotel would have been an error by missing out on this personal service. We can't recommend this hotel enough. The restaurant/bar area was very good, the rooms were very comfortable, and the hotel in general had a very nice feel.

Excellent hotel, incredible hotel to stay. I was there for 8 nights and 7 days. I was more than impressed by all the staff and all time ready to help you and help with your needs. Everything was outstanding from the arrival until my departure. This hotel is close of markets, restaurants and many places to visit. The hotel owner Madame Viviane is all time inquiring the visitors about their stay and if they can help us. Their taxi agency is one of the best and their navette airport to hotel and hotel to airport is more than appropriate. For my next trip to Haiti, I have no doubt at all that I will again reserve at Allamanda Hotel. Thank you to all of you for this fantastic week without any problems. You are the best.

Perfect hotel in Petionville!
My husband and I along with a friend stayed here for one night last week. We had originally booked one room with 2 beds, but when we arrived they informed us unfortunately they didn't have that room available. They were extremely accommodating and offered us 2 single rooms at no extra charge. Everyone was extremely hospitable, and the owner even came over to chat with us while we were at the attached restaurant. The room and facilities were excellent - the best I have stayed in while in Haiti. The restaurant was beautiful and food was pricey but great. The included breakfast was good too! Not a buffet, you order from the menu. The wifi was great for browsing, but slow for downloading. They had hot water, but understandably in limited amounts. It is in perfect walking distance to a number of restaurants and markets as well as a park. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in Petionville!

BEST HOTEL EVER
I was going to Jacmel but I changed my booking at the last minute to stay in Petionville because of the Carnival chaos going on in Jacmel & Gonaives Boy was I right!!!!!!! I used to stay at the Marriott, Best Western, El Rancho but I strongly believe that Allamanda Hotel beat them all in services, care for their clients, and customer service for me should ranked as #1. they made you feel as is, specially Ms. Nicole and Mrs. Viviane husband, and Vilma the receptionist

It's a nice hotel. It has hot water and AC. It is a bit hard to find so pay close attention to the signs not the GPS :) The owner is very friendly.

Great hotel, terrible service.
The hotel itself is very beautiful. Upon check in the staff requested that every person staying in the room must present their passport so they could take a digital photo of it. When we refused the manager came over and argued with us for about 20 minutes. We were very uncomfortable with this policy and did not give our passports. The manager insisted we were the first people to ever have a problem with this policy and even claimed every hotel in that area requires copies of passports. We inquired at another larger hotel nearby and of course that was not true.

If certain establishments accept check-in without a valid ID, that is their choice. Great location but very noisy. Only stayed one night, price too high for basics. Had issues checking in, was told my room was given to another person and I had to find another hotel at 8pm, after I said I didn’t want to go to another hotel that late, they ended up finding a room for me. Simple room, toilet didn’t work well. Breakfast was good. Nobody was there for check out. Ended up leaving keys on a desk. Switched to another hotel down the street for the next few days.

Nice hotel to stay in
Hotel staff very friendly and they go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and then some. Staff members accompanied us on some sight-seeing and local shopping expeditions. The breakfast was quite good. It's definitely worth staying at the Allamanda Hotel in Port au Prince.

Pros: Breakfast was great, air conditioner worked well, there was a refrigerator, water was luke warm, the hotel is gated but that is common in Haiti, the internet worked well. Cons: It was not a bedbed, it was 2 beds put together so I kept falling into the crack of the bed and the bottom sheet wasn't fitted/ nor did it cover the whole bed. The water was brown. They say there is parking, but it was street parking until the night time. I've stayed in worse places in this area for $100 a night so I wouldn't completely write it off in the future.

Nice Guest House in Middle of Petionville
As always the hospitality was above board and I felt secure. Was in second building at Oge #30 which has less amenities. Overall, this is an affordable, well-maintained, and warm guest house on par with the best hotels in PAP.

My second reservation. It turned out when I arrived there was no room. The owner drove me to another hotel which was also excellent, all expenses covered. I'll certainly plan to stay at Alamanda on my next trip to Port-au-Prince.

Horrible!!
this was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I live in the U.S. A. first I would start off by saying this review is in now way about the staff they were wonderful. the hotel manger however is a different story. when I got there she told me my room wasn't available because the guest didn't want to leave. I was not happy at all. first of all I had already paid in full for my booking through hotels.com and then for her to try and give me a room I did not pay for was very upsetting to me. then when I sat there for like 30-35 min for them to actually find me a room the room was not at all in a condition that I would've like to stay in. The tv was very tiny and omg they claimed to have international channel's. No they did not!! the Tv barley got any channels at all!! and when it did get channels the tv kept freezing so basically I had no TV the entire time I was there. The room had roaches and the shower was not a pleasant experience at all. The water got every where every time I took a shower. Then they clamined to have free breakfast but charged me for it in the end of my stay. The woman at the desk asked me if I wanted my laundry done so I said yes. Not one time did she mention there was a charge nor does anywhere on the listing for the hotel say there is a charge. Then on top of all of this there were power outages!! When I bought all of this to the hotel manger attention she had the nerve to tell me Haiti is an expensive place. seriously!!

Dear Guest, Happy New Year! You were lodged in a standard room as you booked: 1 queen bed. AC, individual bathroom, television (only the lobby and the suite have larger screens, all the tv's are the same in all other rooms). In case you were not able to see the international channels, the front desk is available for assistance. It is normal to charge for laundry, the prices are published at the front desk and in each room's portfolio. As far as the power outages, we have 2 back up generators. Nice Hotel in the center of it all
The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful people who are running it; from the owner who responds to all your inquiries from before the time you arrive to the time you leave to the ladies and gentlemen who assist her in managing the front desk and the grounds to the beautiful ladies who take care of the kitchen and provide you with a hearty breakfast. The room is clean and spacious, the breakfast is hearty, and the location is central, although it is better you keep in mind that walking is not advisable because of the hills of the city and to be patient with traffic.

They make you feel like at home!
It was a very nice experience! Staff was very nice and kind. Viviane, the owner, was a very special person. The lady at the reception desk and the lady that cooked breakfast were really kind and helpful. It has a nice, pleasant, relaxed and comfy place to stay. I will definitely come back.

This is a Great Find!
The property and personal welcome way exceeded my expectation. The breakfast was made to order with lots of choices. I accidentally left a book when I left the hotel (and the country). By the time I got home, I had an email from the hotel asking me how they could help get it back to me -- before I even asked.

Home sweet home
Staying at Alamanda is like being at home.... Room are big enough. .. Clean.... bathroom are modern spotless. ... The staff is friendly.... I will be back!

Good B&B!! :)
The room was clean. I like their breakfast. Staff were very friendly and were able to help with any request. The location is a safety area and near the big supermarket.
