Beautiful view and nice deck make up for small size of room. They booked us into a different hotel for the first night because they said they had a toilet issue in our room. The hotel they put us in was better and we would have preferred to stay there in hindsight. Even though they came and transported our bags it was a hassle to not be able to settle in. When we checked in it was clear they weren't going to do anything about that. No discount, no free appetizer or drink... nothing. And, then our toilet ran unless we "jiggled the handle" (pushed the button) and when we mentioned it to them, they just acted like they would fix it and it was no big deal. Also, not very helpful with local trips or tips. We went to OneFire beach one day and asked help in resrvations and how the water taxi worked and basically ended up contacting them directly ourselves and made all the resrvations. The bartenders and staff at breakfast were great. The manager and front desk staff, not so much.

Dear Mr Craig,we are sorry for the inconvenience (some things are beyond our control),unfortunately we were unable to resolve the problem quickly. For this reason we looked for accommodation of a higher category than the one you had booked to compensate for any inconvenience that we might have caused. Sorry you not appreciated the complimentary room with a small terrace instead of the balcony as per your original booking, the excellent bottle of Prosecco, the kindness of the staff at the reception. Unfortunately the structure was fully booked and we could have done better than what was offered. Thank you to mentioned the beatiful view from the hotel and the restaurant staff. We hope to have you again as our guest if you will give us another chance, we will do better .

Beautiful location and very friendly staff, with a solid restaurant and terrace options for taking in the Positano view. Only issue was the shower which had a strange designed and tended to leak. Besides that, absolutely perfect stay!

The hotel was nice. A bit expensive for what it offers. Very surprised at the accessibility to get to the lobby of the hotel. I can’t imagine that guests that book there know what’s involved in order to get up there. The views were beautiful though.

Querida delia, gracias por tu comentario, para ser más precisos hay 105 escaleras, pero Positano es la ciudad de las escaleras. Precisamente por esta característica es único.Esperamos que pueda regresar pronto, estaremos muy felices.

We stayed for two nights when we arrived they asked for our passports. When we left they told us they did not have them and told us to check our luggage saying maybe we had misplaced them ourselves. They never returned our passports and we had to change our entire trip to go to Rome to the US embassy to get new passports. Unreliable, unprofessional and outrageous they were so careless with our important government documents. We were shocked and heartbroken to have to canceled the second half of our trip to detour to Rome. Very very upsetting. Wouldn’t take the chance and stay at this hotel again.

This is high up from the beach center but a 15-20 walk up and down steps. High up offers incredible view from this place which we were pleased because we had chosen a large balcony. Very friendly staff. Only complaint is the breakfast was a little disappointing for our room rate. Mostly cakes, sweets rather than larger heartier buffet. Would be nice to have eggs, bacon, pancakes/French toast and lots of fresh fruit, that type of thing. But we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend.

The rooms were beautiful and the views are amazing. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The stairs are for real. They do have amazing porters to bring up and down all of your luggage.

Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful and anything we wanted to do. There are 105 steps up to the hotel so if you cannot walk up it this is not the place for you otherwise I highly suggest it. I would definitely return

The hotel was fantastic! The only issue was that our bathtub did not drain and it leaked overnight. The floor tile was so slippery, my husband slipped and fell and almost got in a terrible injury. Other than that, the staff is great and the location is very nice!

Don’t waste your money
We enjoyed Positano but don’t be fooled by this place, overall it would’ve been decent if the place wasn’t infested with ants and flys. Be warned the hotel is on a step hill and there are many steps to get up to it. We wanted to give this place a shot for our honeymoon as location wise it was great but on day 2 our bedding had an infestation of ants, on day 3 ants were all over the patio, on day 4 fruit flys in the bathroom. During our stay fruit flys pillaged the breakfast area and hallway as well. I have videos and pictures of this all and it’s not acceptable especially for what they charge. We tried to dispute some of the charges and the hotel stated since “they changed the bedding immediately” they didn’t feel they needed to offer any type of reimbursement. While yes they changed the sheets I think they could’ve provided some type of refund as a customer I shouldn’t have to stay somewhere with bugs bottom line. Zoom into the pic to see ants on the bed which was oh so romantic :)

Lovely place, great view
This was a lovely hotel. The room was beautiful, with a gorgeous view from the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged for our luggage to be taken directly down to the port for our ferry out in the afternoon, so we could walk around and enjoy the town post check-out. The location was a little tough to get to, up several small stairways, so I recommend calling to have a porter carry your bags in. It is not a place for those with trouble walking. We ate at the hotel restaurant and were very pleased with both the free breakfast, and the paid dinner. The service was great, and the craft cocktails were fun. One thing that I didn't like: the shower in the bathroom had an overhead, a handheld, and wall nozzles that sprayed horizontally. All good except that the wall nozzles faced the door, which had a cm space between it and the wall. They were unusable without spraying the rest of the bathroom. Also, the bathroom and balcony doors were a bit warped. Minor details. All else was great. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We were very pleased.

The hotel has a spectacular view and the rooms have a large beautiful terrace facing the water. Staff were friendly and helpful and provided great service. Restaurant had a breathtaking view and ambiance. The only disappointment was the quality of the food at the hotel’s own restaurant which we had dinner at one night.

Nice hotel, nice staff and very clean and tidy. Room was great and no complaints on the facility. The only comment would be we were not made aware of the number of stairs and whilst not an issue for us, I did think that if you were incapacitated in any way it would be a big challenge.

Most of the staff were very pleasant but some seemed a bit tired of tourists. It's located at an upper portion of town which required a fair amount of walking but everything in this town requires a lot of walking. What we did not like about the hotel was the poor internet, make shift bath tub and the fact that it was very loud. Overall way too much money for what it offers. We wouldn't go back.

I really thought this was a great hotel. Loved the staff, views and terrace. The thing that put a damper on this hotel was that they dried all of our clothes after we specifically asked them to hang dry. We spoke with 2 different people at the front desk and they assured us they would not be thrown in a drier. They even wrote instructions on the laundry bag. But sure enough, they dried them and now half of our clothes shrunk. This was still the first part of our trip, so now we are traveling with clothes we are unable to wear. All they had to say was that no, they cannot hang and we would have been happy to hang on our balcony or room. Very disappointed, however, as long as you dont need laundry done, this hotel is great.
