The White Magnolia Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Completely remodeled 1890’s farmhouse located in Warrenton behind Zapp Hall. It is 4 miles from Round Top. Marburger Farm is only a mile and Junk Gypsy is 3 miles. It is walking distance to all of Warrenton. During the antique show you are next to all the great shopping.

MOTHER DAUGHTER GET AWAY
My daughter found this Barbie doll house on-line and it truly was a wonderful experience. I needed a quiet laid-back couple of days and this was the perfect choice. The jack and jill bathroom worked perfect for us. The only thing missing was a rocking chair on the porch and a swimming pool. I look forward to a return visit in the fall.

Cute Little House
Was perfect for our small little family. Quick overnight stay for a family/friend wedding in LaGrange. Would definitely book again for a weekend in Warrenton for my family or a girls trip. Very clean & had everything we needed for our overnight stay!!!

Terrible Description
My friends and I booked this house based on the pictures an description given by the owners. When we pulled in, we were stunned to see the house was surrounded by campers, RVs, trailers, etc. People were literally walking all around the house all day/night. You could not be on either porch without people being right on top of you. Men were sitting outside their RV’s watching TV all morning. At midnight of the only night we stayed, a RV pulled up and set up literally right along side the house - along the bedroom wall. If you looked out the bedroom windows, you were looking right into their kitchen. We contacted the owner and we’re basically told too bad. If you have ever been to Warrenton, this house is literally right in the parking lot, just behind all the vendors of the show. I would never recommend to anyone to stay here.

Our stay was short, but it was perfect. We came during the spring show and spent one day in Round Top and the other in Warrenton. It is very close to all the shopping in Warrenton. Our only surprise was how many travel trailers and people were right by our house.

Great location!
The house was so cute! Very clean and comfortable. We stayed on a Monday night and the weather was a bit dreary, but there was very little noise from the people around us in their RVs. We would definitely like to stay there again!

Very clean, modern and comfortable. Was difficult to locate in the dark. Better directions off the road would have helped. One amenity would have been coffee and a newer one serve coffee maker. Don't get my wrong, the place was great!

Beautiful Farmhouse!
The little farmhouse was expertly finished and decorated. We loved the shiplap, the details, the attention that was paid to design choices, space layout, and finishes in this property. I wanted to pick up the whole house and move it to our property! That being said, it was a little disconcerting for my mother when we arrived and there were RVs in the pasture around us. Everyone there was quiet and we had zero issues with our "neighbors," so it wasn't as big of a deal as my mother worried it may be, though. Overall, it was an excellent property, well-cared for, and I would stay here again!

The posting pictures are a little misleading and the description doesn’t mention that the home is surrounded by RV’s and in the middle of the bustle during antique shows. We expected a little more privacy and seclusion based on the photo of the outside. Cottage is decorated nicely and very cozy.

Great place to stay for the Round Top Antique Show!
I really loved this property! It was very clean and the owners were very helpful with information and were responsive when we needed things. We stayed there during the Fall Roundtop Antique show. I was not expecting so many campers and cars to be all around us. The plus is we were right in the middle of everything we could walk to food , shopping and the golf cart rentals. It was also quiet at night which was also a plus. The negative is there were no views from the porches other than vehicles. This would only be a problem during the antique shows but the trade off is worth it if you want to be in a convenient spot for shopping the booths. I hope to go back and stay again . If you select this place you will not be disappointed!
