Ihan ok hotelli.Matkaa Sorrenton keskustaan 3 km.Ja korkeuserot suuria ja varsinaista kävelytietä ei ole.Bussi kulkee 30min välein keskustaan ja maksaa 1,80€.Uima-allas kiva ja samoin maisemat.Muuten hyvä mut sijainti aika syrjässä.

Tyytyväinen asiakas
Palvelu oli erinomaista, sekä kaikki henkilökunta todella ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Hotellin merinäköala oli paras mahdollinen ja hieman pidempi etäisyys keskustaan oli mielestäni vain plussaa. Vieressä kulkevan autotien äänet eivät kuuluneet lainkaan hotellin altaalle tai huoneeseemme. Aamupala ja huoneiden siivous olivat mielestäni hyvää perustasoa.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dania. It was a quaint family run hotel that exceeded expectations! The staff was so wonderful and warm and helpful! The superior staff far outweighed any inconveniences that you might be accustomed to in the United States. We had a great time! We didn’t know what to expect and we were thoroughly surprised. We enjoyed that the hotel sat a little bit outside the busy downtown and we were close to popular swimming spots. It was also a great opportunity to ride the bus and navigate the trains. Thank you very much for a lovely trip!

Staff were very helpful first night we were there as we arrived later and even served us some dinner from there kitchen.The view was beautiful with an ocean front view.Little bit out from town but there is bus service that runs about every 20 minutes and you can either pay bus driver for ticket or get in little store on corner by bus stop.Only takes about 8 minutes to get to center of town.Well worth the money to stay at this hotel.

Hotel Dania is a great place to get away. The views from the hotel are amazing (the sun setting next to the Island of Capri and views of the sea), the staff is very accommodating, and the community provides endless opportunities for various activities. During our visit we had the hotel schedule use for a bus, ferry, and site seeing adventure around the island of Capri and they arranged for cars to pick us up at the hotel and drive use to local restaurants. The hotel is clean with unique layout which offers rooms with balconies to enjoy the views at any time. The pool is cool and deep (1.6m to 3.1m with a shallow section 0.8m), they have a bar onsite for drinks and food, the breakfast is good by Italian standards, and rooms are good size (the rooms are dated).

Overall Dania is a fine choice for staying in Sorrento, especially if you don't mind being a little removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown (though you can always walk there in 30 or take the bus). The front desk staff were all very lovely and very helpful! The room we were originally in was not acceptable. There was no elevator on that side of the property and no one helped us up with our suitcases, there were 3 dead mosquitos on the walls, and the toilet never flushed fully. We were then switched into a much better room that was clearly newer, had an elevator, clean walls and bathroom. The meals at the hotel were a huge disappointment. The breakfast breads and pastries were often not fresh, the cereal was stale every day, and there was no hot option included (only cold boiled eggs which also tasted off). Dinner we tried once and it was just alright, overpriced for what we received in quantity and quality as compared to going out to a restaurant.

Spectacular views - wow
Beautiful location, amazing views, nice to have a balcony, good facilities (pool/bar etc), nice staff (especially the woman that attended the bar and was there for breakfast in the mornings; cannot remember her name, sorry, but she was great!). The only downside is getting to and from the hotel to the centre; beautiful views throughout but if you decide to walk it is a bit dangerous with young children - use the bus service or taxis (if you’re happy to spend a bit more). All in all I would definitely recommend and return, miss it already!

Très belle vue depuis la chambre dont magnifique coucher de soleil sur la mer. Mais des clients restent passé minuit à discuter au snack alors qu'il a déjà fermé. Chambre à renover douche ancienne sans douchette à la main. Restaurant de l'hotel fermé et pas d'autres à proximité. Trop peu de place sur le parking. Bon petit déjeuner.

Lovely hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast. The views from the hotel and pool area are great. Perfect for watching the sunset. Easy access by bus service. Taxi will over charge, so don’t use if travelling aline.

Fantastic options
Hotel staff were great and extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable. The views were A+. The room was a great value for the money. The only complains I had were that there was no shower curtain in the washroom and the AC was pretty weak. That said, it did'nt take away from a great experience.

Would recommend
Overall we had a great time here and would stay here again. The staff was really nice. We enjoyed breakfast in the morning. Location was great, very close to a bus stop that takes you to the train station and all around Sorrento. Hotel was clean and we had a beautiful view of the sea from our balcony. The bed was the main thing I wish were better, it was pretty tough and not an actually queen bed but two twins put together which makes it uncomfortable sleep in the middle of the bed. Towels were more like sheets than towels.

No teníamos pensado quedarnos en Sorrento y por casualidad dimos con este hotel. Parking disponible por 10€, desayuno buffet incluido, personal súper amable, habitaciones cómodas, y lo mejor de todo, pisicna con unas vistacas!! La única pega es que está algo alejado del centro y hay que coger coche o bus.

The staff were extremely helpful and gave great recommendations for activities and must-sees in the area. We had three meals at the hotel restaurant during our stay and were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The view is fantastic and you can catch great sunsets from the patio. The location is good but you do have to take a 10 minute bus ride to get into the center of Sorrento. I think it’s worth it for the price though and the peace you’ll feel at the hotel. It’s not very modern but everything is clean and well cared for. We had a great stay and would definitely come back.

Över förväntan
Ett boende utöver det vi förväntade oss. Incheckning där det gifta paret, delägare i hotellet, välkomnade. Vi fick ett varmt bemötande av paret som talade utmärkt Engelska. Fick mycket info om omgivningen, restauranger, transporter osv. Jag bokade rum med balkong och utsikten över Neapelbukten var fantastisk med ön Ischia på horisonten. Städning varje dag. Ganska basic men helt ok frukost. Vi är supernöjda med vistelsen, mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma personalen och åker gärna tillbaka.

Hotel was very clean, lovely & peaceful. The staff were all really friendly & helpful and the location was great, bus stop across the road and 5 mins into sorrento. Pool area is nice and the views are lovely. We ate lunch at the hotel one day and the food was very nice & seemed to be very fresh! A few feedback points from us are: - the room was a lot smaller than the photos that are advertised, we were only there for a few days so it was fine but had we been there any longer I think it would of got on my nerves! Expedia really should have genuine photos of the size of all of the different rooms that are available just so you know what to expect when you arrive. - Breakfast, I am lactose intolerant which I mentioned the to hotel before arrival and they very kindly supplied Soya milk for me so thank you to them for that! However there was hardly anything to eat at all, again as we were only there for a few days it was ok but if we were there for a week it would of got tedious! They really should have a toaster and sliced bread at least, understand the hotel is only 3 star but I feel that’s very basic to have for breakfast and would improve it vastly, fruit salad would be good too? Regardless of the points above we had a really nice time on our minimoon :)

The hotel is in a beautiful location just outside of Sorrento. It is easy to get to by Pass and then a short walk up the hill. The staff are lovely and very friendly and helpful. The views are incredible and that’s what made our stay ok. Now the negatives. Although our room was clean it was dated and not well-kept. There were a lot of cracks in the walls but probably the worst part of the room was the bed. The bed was literally as hard as a rock and now my husband and I know what the Romans felt like sleeping on their slabs. It was not an enjoyable experience and unfortunately we were not able to have good sleeps while we were staying there. Also our room did not have a shower. It had a bathtub with a showerhead Which we had to use to manually have a shower sitting on a stool in the bathtub so we didn’t slip and fall. And trust me we are not as old as that last sentence makes us sound. Although we enjoyed hotel Dania for the views and the quiet and peaceful location we would probably not go back because of the lack of upkeep and the bed.

Amazing view!
The hotel had an amazing view of the sea and a really lovely terrace/pool area! We only wish we had the time/energy to take advantage of this more. Also, even though this was located outside of the main city, it was really easy for us to catch a bus to/from the city by just walking to a stop 3 minutes away. The reception was also really nice and helpful in providing directions. The room itself is simple - but provides everything you need for an active stay in the Sorrento area.

This property overlooks the sea with a beautiful view. The building is unique and pretty on the inside and outside. The staff at this hotel are beyond kind- they helped us one very stressful night to get to Sorrento from Naples when we had missed the last bus. The pool is beautiful and the restaurant is amazing. I can’t say enough about what a great stay we had!!! Thank you to all the staff and especially Monica for taking care of us! We will be back!
