The walls between rooms are paper thick it seems... we heard the people beside a part of the night. They we left early and I forgot my shirt in the closet. I called the hotel and got no callback...

The stagf was so sweet and helpful. Breakfast was ok, no meat or eggs, just waffles or cereal. The view was great with a beach access and fire ring. The only downside was no elevator.

Great location, great stay!
Hotel is amazing. View is OUTSTANDING! Breakfast was good! Breakfast burritos along with waffles, bagels cereal sausage the next day. Even saw some freighters frim our windows! Pool and spa area was suoer nice arcade and vending. Loved it!

The bed was comfortable and I slept pretty good considering It was extremely noisy, from the heater that kicked on every 10 minutes, to the toilet, then the other people who stayed there.

Awesome View of Lake Huron
It was a great place for my family because it was on the water and gorgeous views of Lake Huron at sunset and sunrise. We will be staying here again.

Location was great. Property grounds seemed to be orderly, the room was "less than average". Pain peeling, mold around tub rim - unkept.

Our stay was great. Hotel/staff wonderful. Everyone very friendly. Like the 24/7 coffee/tea/cocoa in lobby. Pool was nice. Location easy drive to docks or if you are willing a 20 minute walk to docks. I would recommend better lighting in rooms. Was still dark feeling even with all lights on. A TV guide menu to view. The TV itself was quite large & picture quality great.

The location is Prime real estate! The view is impeccable! The staff was great the rooms were very clean but the door structures on the deck rooms need some serious attention! It's an extremely large investment I know that but the view is priceless. Property should be in a little bit better condition for safety I didn't see any fire detectors in the rooms? I would go back cuz I know how to fix the door and make it work right for my stay. But the staff was outstanding!

Great location for traveling through and around St. Ignace. We stayed one night in late September and were given a waterfront room on the bottom floor. It was an excellent room with an amazing view. Parking was very convenient and right by our room. The waterfront area of the hotel had a fire pit which was lit at night and had seating for 5-6 people. There was also a beach area with chairs already set out. Late September appears to be a quiet time to visit and helps to avoid crowds. One suggestion is for the property to maintain the grassy waterfront area better as it appears people with dogs are not cleaning up after their pets. It was in one grassy area right next to the beach, but fairly obvious and in an area where one would want to walk around, but could not.

The pool too cold to use, the backyard would be beautiful as you look over laker Heron, BUT all the duck, geese, and dog poop was disgusting, unhealthy for your visitors. The room was nothing to write home about. No elevator.

I liked the lakefront view and the continental breakfast. Our keycard card gave us problems getting in the main door though.

Clean and a short distance to the ferries. I wish the pool was heated. It was so cold, which was a shame since the view from the pool was so nice. We wanted to swim.

Good location, friendly service
The location is amazing on the water. The staff was friendly the breakfast was good. The bathroom floor was sticky and didn’t feel very clean. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

The room was exceptionally clean. I wipe down all surfaces with a sanitizing wipe and the wipe stayed clean. Including the two deck chairs, the wipe didn't show any dust either. Kudos to the cleaning crew.

The setting of the Baymont is absolutely spectacular. Our room was upstairs overlooking the lake and Mackinac Island making for a beautiful morning on our mother/ daughter adventure. The room was clean and tidy with the exception of the window overlooking the pool room. Curtains were off their hooks and the window ledges were full of dead insects and spider webs. It also seemed like there were some "unfinished" items on a remodel list-small pieces of missing baseboard, lamps not plugged in, phone not working. Otherwise, for a very full hotel it was quiet and relaxing with a gorgeous view.

Great location and friendly staff! The room was clean but had a little bit of an odor. A musty type odor. We just summed it up to being on the bottom floor and being by the lake. Everything else was clean! Building could use some maintenance and upgrades but overall I would stay aging and recommend!

No elevator made a difficult stair climb with luggage; carpet was damp around sink area and room smelled of mildew. Shower was hot, bed slept good, staff was friendly.

Poor conditions and service
The patio door to the balcony looking over Lake Huron is filthy. Hard to see the lake at all!! Treadmill in their gum is broken, and weight mqchine is extremely rusty. Hole in the wall in the room, and shower has mold. Management refuses to refund any money. Do not sray here!!
