PERFECT SPACE FOR TWO PEOPLE
This was the perfect amount of space for 2 people. The space was very clean. We were above the Donkey Burger restaurant which did not open till around dinner time. They were playing music which did not bother us. This is a nice place to stay, and it is close to all the Stowe attractions.

Great little place
Centrally located to a lot of restaurants and things to do but the only complaints we had are that the music downstairs in the bar can be a little too loud and bassy at night until the bar closes around 10pm, and we could not figure out how to work the tv. It appeared as though the remote didn’t work, and it was only set to one station and you couldn’t change the channel.other than that we had a great time

Great Location
So we were a little hesitant with the place being right above the Blue Donkey…but when we realized they are only open 4-10 and are closed completely on Wednesdays and Thursdays that pretty much sealed the deal for us. If you know Stowe, this location is impossible to beat. Alchemist is walkable, Apres is walkable, 2 minutes to Idletyme, 5 minutes to Docs, 8 minutes to minutes to the mountain.

Perfect for 2
This is a great place for 2 people. Our teenage son (our 3rd person) had an inadequate bed for the first two nights. The pull-out couch was broken and could not be slept on (barely sat on) but we found an air mattress. Turned out it had a hole so he slept on the floor. Same with another air mattress they brought in the next day. Had to sleep on the floor. Finally the 3rd night they brought in an air mattress that stayed inflated. Vacasa has not yet responded to my many requests for partial reimbursement for the lack of a bed for our 3rd person for 2 nights. Additionally Vacasa would not respond to us about how to dispose of our garbage, recycling and compost which was piling up over our 9 day stay. Hours spent trying to get a response! King size bed is very comfortable. The AC is loud in the bedroom but without out it on its way too hot. Good location near bike path. Bar below is a good spot for a beer and shuts down by 10. Not too loud even when open.

Great location for skiing
The apartment was clean and cozy and had all the amenities you could want in a vrbo stay. I loved that it was dog friendly and so close to Stowe - so easy to get there by car or by the bus that stops almost right in front of the lot you park in. My one negative comment is not the VRBO’s fault but I feel it’s necessary to note and remind people searching that the location above the bar does matter. Most nights the music ended early but Saturday night the bartender FORGOT to turn the music off and it played literally all night and into the morning. I’m a New Yorker noise doesn’t really bother me but it did make the floor vibrate in addition to the noise of it. Need to know if you’re a sensitive sleeper. Otherwise would stay again.

weekend getaway
we really enjoyed it. it was perfect for what we needed. loved having the park in the back for the dogs to run around and play. there is a huge fenced in tennis court that the dogs were able to run free. didn’t hear any noise from the bar.

This is a great one bedroom located right off Mountain Road in Stowe. It was clean, comfortable and as advertised. Though our stay was only one night, it was a great spot and the process to check in and out was simple. Doggo Friendly as well!! Would recommend for a couple and pet.

Woke to Roofers Staring at Us in Bed
Don't book with this rental agency if you want help with any issues that arise. There was a rain leak that soaked our bags overnight and in the morning we woke to roofers looking through the window at us in bed. They had set up directly outside the bathroom window, which didn't have full covering, plus there were skylights, so we weren't even able to go in the bathroom in the morning. We had to pack up and leave with soaked clothes because there was zero privacy. It was very awkward. I emailed the company and was told someone would call me, but no one ever did. When I followed up with a phone call they said it was my fault they couldn't do anything about it because I didn't call when the roofers showed up. I booked this stay for my partner's birthday and all I can say is that it was a waste of money. The rental is above a loud restaurant, as well, and not a cute part of town. You can do better.

Location was excellent. Furnishings mismatched. Bed and sofa very uncomfortable. One closet door in bedroom would not open. Ran out of shampoo & conditioner provided (2-1oz), & toilet paper had to go to store & purchase. Restaurant below had a band Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights very loud passed the time we were instructed to be quiet 9 pm -8 am. There were printed materials with instructions to put trash out on trash day but did not say when tray day was. There was a misunderstanding on our check out day. Someone showed up to clean we understood we were leaving the next day. Then received a call from property manager, she gave us 2 hours to pack because they had another group coming in. So that meant we had to find another place for one night. Very difficult ending. Property manager had said she could put us in another location. How’re, she couldn’t make the transfer. She said she would text us the number to call and get it taken care of. Never heard back from her. Very disappointed.

Nice apartment
I had a good experience staying here. Cozy set up and comfortable bed. The kitchen utensils, pans and dishes were in good supply. My stay was only a couple of nights. Even though it’s above the Blue Donkey bar I didn’t have any problems with noise coming up from the bar.

Sweet little Apartment
Perfect for one or 2 people, great outdoor space for dogs and beautiful neighborhood walks. I was fortunate that the former restaurant downstairs, which is now a bar, was closed during my stay. However, two of the days I was there, they were getting ready for the first opening of the season and trying out their stereo system. I found it unbearably loud, especially the sound and vibrating of the bass that came through the most and felt really bad for my dog. A dogs hearing is a lot more sensitive than that of humans. So we left, for the time being. If you have some desk work to do while there, know that sitting on the kitchen chairs is not comfortable at all for longer periods of time. The place was nice and cozy and beautifully decorated, living room smaller than expected, but not a big deal. Wifi could be better. Some of the blinds were not in good shape. The bedroom is not dark at night, due to a bright spotlight right underneath from the Bar downstairs and then from sunlight coming in very early in the morning. I suggest bringing an eyemask, or maybe next time, there will be room darkening shades. The ones that are there, don’t do the trick. All in all, I had a great stay though and the kitchen was well equipped!

Perfect spot for mountain fun
This rental was very conveniently located just minutes from Stowe resort. There is a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes for literal door to door service. Plenty of room for dogs to stretch their legs. Restaurant below. Couldn’t ask a better spot to spend a long weekend or a quick getaway! Would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot for every season & for dog lovers
This was a perfect stay for our long winter weekend in Stowe. The property is close to so many little gems, and has ample space out back for dogs. We were close to everything, whether that was hikes, skiing, beers, or food. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The property was clean, cozy, and convenient.

Nice stay in Stowe
Very clean and conveniently located one bedroom small apartment on second floor. Across the Mountain Road from the bike path and close to restaurants and shops. About halfway between the town and the mountain resort. We loved the location. The king bed was very comfortable. The only negative I have is that the sleeper sofa in the living area isn't very comfortable to sit on. Overall, a great place and a bonus that we could bring our dog.
