About the only good thing I can say about this property is that it is close to the I-90 exit ramp and the check in and checkout experience was reasonable. Everything else was below par, there were no towels in the room, the bedsheet had a stain and the bed linen was yellowing in places, the phone was not working, necessitating us to walk down two flights to reception, the door and door lock were very hard to open, and there was no coffee maker in the room (it was a part of the listed amenities). Definitely not recommended.

My family and I left after being there for 3 minutes as we felt unsafe. Had to step over people doing drugs right outside our room, and once we got into the room there was a hole in the wall and a ball of hair on the bed. I asked for a refund since we didn't feel safe and left, but it was not approved.

when checking in we tried to arrive early and the kay at the desk was a bit abrupt and somewhat rude in the manner in which she told us we cannot check in early. lack of tack and professionalism. when came back we were checked in quickly with no problems. the room was clean and the only noise came from the employee laundry room in which the dryer made thumping noises into our room. when it was not operating the room was quiet. somewhere in between our stay we walked outside to hear rain music blasting extremely loudly from somewhere on the 2nd floor but when we went inside our room couldn’t hear it. the last few days of our stay the shower staying backing up with water while we showered which was a bit annoying and cause big dirt ring to stain the bathtub. the check out was just as quick and seamless as the check in.

People were fighting in the common area's. The heaters in the room kept clicking through out the night like water dripping on steel. The AC unit in room 220 did not work.

We only stayed for one night. The owners that have pets staying with them should be considerate of other guest. You should not allow your dog to bark throughout the entire night.

It was perfect for my overnight stay in Syracuse. The AC unit didn’t have a heat option and it was below freezing outside so my room was a little chilly but bearable. Considering what I paid and I was only there a night, it was fine

Normally we have great stays here. It is clean & updated, & the staff is usually extremely helpful. This time, it was terrible. We realized we needed towels, a bathmat, & a trasbag since there wasn't one in the can, so I tried calling the desk. (We are mobility-impaired, & walking all the way there from the third floor is unrealistic for us except in an emergency.) The line was busy for 45 minutes. Finally got through, and I was questioned as to whether I actually needed towels, but the woman finally said she would bring some. By that time, it was after 9 pm. So we waited & waited...no towels. Tried calling again. Busy. Busy. Busy. Then the phone just rang & rang. We needed towels AND sleep, so hubby decided to walk down. It was intensely painful for him, by the way, & he is still in pain this morning. That was after 11:30 pm. He was told someone would bring towels...it was nearly 1 am before we got the towels, with no explanation or apology. No bathmat. No trashbag, but we got a couple of towels... After finally showering, and now with less than 4.5 hours sleep, we need to drive several hours this morning. I can't believe we paid to be treated this way.

Room had no towels, toiletries, etc. & front desk had none to give out. Heat was turned off so room was 40 degrees when I checked in (30 degrees outside). Trash left outside rooms. Ice cubes scattered all over the stairwell. The only plus was a friendly desk clerk.

Entry door knob in disrepair, smoke alarm battery missing,only one bath towel available in room. Staff while checking in and out pleasant, but when being moved from room too room not so much. In the end they compensated for the inconvenience.

The staff at check in was great. The property as a whole was filthy. In the room, it stunk. The heater/air conditioner unit was in poor condition. The labels were gone so we didn't know what setting we had it on. There was a large amount of dirt and sheetrock dust and chunks inside the vent of the unit. The smoke detector was taken off the wall, put in a drawer with the battery removed. I took pictures but do not see where i can attach them

I don't ever submit reviews, but feel pretty strongly based on my experience here this is not be rented. Trash was everywhere around the building, room was not particularly clean and the piece de resistance was getting a key card to a room that was already occupied. Not worth the cheaper price tag y'all.

Clean & comfy rooms. Lots of hot water for showers. Folks are kind & helpful at the desk. Lots of recent reno has been done here--it is a nicer place to stay now at a bargain price. The only complaint I ever have here is the overwhelming stench of weed being smoked outside the rooms. Since it's now legal here in NY, & they don't do it in the rooms, there is nothing staff can do--but the stink seeps into the rooms when you open the door to go in or out, & you have to walk through clouds of smoke. The staff fully understand that this is an issue for folks with breathing issues, but all they can do is ask them to stay away from other people's rooms. Definitely not the staff's fault. But it really is a disgusting stench.
