Good location, friendly staff
Nice small hotel with friendly staff. Location is excellent, very close to San Marco but you can get to Rialto quite easily, too. Rooms were nice allthough the decoration was a bit too kitsch for my taste. Breakfast was good but the selection was small as you might expect from such a small hotel.

Lovely little hotel right in the heart of Venice. Slightly quirky set up and the staff are very attentive. Unusually for Venice there is a left to help you get your luggage to floors, but due to its central location, getting your luggage to the hotel can be difficult. The private taxi we booked at the airport dropped us off at St Marks and we had to use a porter to get the bags (3 suitcases) to the hotel. Going back the hotel booked one and it picked us up 10m from the hotel door. Both really expensive ways to travel, but very romantic and certainly the latter being stress free. Alternatively just pack light!!!!

All the staff went out of there way to make you feel welcome, everything was done with a smile. The rooms are well decorated and spotlessly clean. Minutes from san Marco square, a little tricky to find at night due to the maze of small streets but well worth it. A great hotel would definitely use again, highly recommended.

Lovely hotel - staff were very friendly and were happy to answer any questions. Hotel was nice and modern but still with quaint Venetian style. Great location near to San Marco piazza, about 5 mins walk. Room was lovely - we had the one right at the top with a sky light where you can see the tower and across all the red rooftops - beautiful! Bed comfy (although it was two singles pushed together, but that’s quite common for Europe!) and bathroom newly refurbished with a nice powerful rain head shower. Hairdryer provided in room, and although there was no kettle, they brought one up for us when we asked. Breakfast served in small lobby area, which doesn’t really have enough room for all guests but you can choose to have breakfast brought to your room for no extra cost. Breakfast had a nice selection of bread, pastries, cereals, ham, cheese, etc as well as juice and hot drinks. Thanks for a great stay - would definitely recommend to friends visiting Venice!

Bon hôtel bien situé.
Un hôtel plein de charme à proximité de la place saint Marc. Nous avons eu la chance d avoir une chambre sous les toits avec vue sur la place. Malgré très calme et très propre, nous avons passé un excellent week end. Petit bémol pour les couples, 2 lits collés qui se séparaient sans arrêt... Petit dej pas terrible mais service plutôt sympa.

I don't know who would rate this hotel a 4.5! Absolutely awful. False advertising. It's a 16 ft square room with no window and way WAY over priced. Breakfast is a roll and if you ask you'll get a hard boiled egg. There are only 3 tables and we witnessed 2 couples being told to come back in 15 minutes or so. The room was clean but the shower was a plastic accordion pull thing. Don't waste your money on this one!

Great place in Venice.
Overall this was a wonderful place to stay. The room was a very nice size and the bathroom was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is also situated in a great location close to all the main sites.

Grazioso hotel a pochi minuti da piazza San Marco. Personale accogliente e gentile, stanze pulite e comode, locato in un vecchio palazzo veneziano ma ristrutturato a nuovo. Unico appunto sul bagno: la pressione dell'acqua era altalenante, causando continui cambi di temperatura in doccia, un po' fastidioso. Stessa cosa per le luci, si alzavano e abbassavano di continuo. In camera invece tutto ok.

60th anniversary treat
The amazing Venis can not fail to thrill, & Hotel was excellent , but the location for us was difficult given our age &mobility , we are both in our late 70,s & came to realise that although the spirit was willing the joints &a muscles took a battering with the terrain& crowds . We would love to be able to return but some how think it is beyond us . The staff at the Relais Venvenezia were superb, especially Dario , who organised a porter to take us to the water taxi to return home , would recommend this porter service both ways if your hotel like the Relais staff go that extra mile .

Great location
The hotel is located 2 minute walk from St Marks Square and 10 minutes from Rialto Bridge. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops, good shopping especially for leather. The hotel is a little tough to locate initially. It’s typical of Venice hotels. It’s in the old quarter, it’s small but well decorated and stylish. The price is good for Venice. But there are issues. The reception is also the breakfast area and it’s small, 20metres x 10 and 4 tables which is insufficient for the people staying there. Most mornings I had to wait for a space. There is no restaurant facility other than breakfast. The breakfast is sparse, cheese and ham, bread, hard boiled egg, cereal and coffee. The room was pleasant and clean but no kettle or fridge. But for the money and location it’s sufficient with helpful staff.

We had a phenomenal stay!
The hotel itself was initially challenging to find but so is everything else in Venice besides San Marcos square. Other than that, we loved the location as it was within 5 minutes of the square and about 12 from Per Rialto. Great place, great staff.

Perfect stay at Relais Venezia
Wonderful hotel located in a great and central location. St Mark's square and Rialto bridge are both within a very short walking distance which makes this hotel perfect for exploring the city. Service at the hotel was exceptional and everything was catered for without us even having to ask. Choice of breakfast to be served in your bedroom meant a relaxed start to the day. Spread of breakfast items was also good. Great hotel, with perfect service in a super location. Could not have asked for better.

Nice location.
Hotel is in a classic Venice building on a winding path. Close enough to St. Marks to walk comfortably. There are a lot of steps though to get to the rooms. Staff was great.

Absolutely wonderful
Just returned from a weekend break here with friends. We could not have asked for more. This hotel is fantastic - the hotel staff were all so helpful and friendly, rooms were so clean and lovely and the breakfast was fabulous! Also location is unbelievable - can not recommend this hotel enough ! So impressed

Hotel com excelente custo x benefício. Lugar simples porém aconchegante.staff muito atencioso. Café da manhã simples, mas agradável (foi servido frios, pães frescos, iogurte,cafés e sucos.) Muito próximo da praça san marco./ponte rialto.

Schönes Hotel, optimale Lage für Stadtbesichtigung
Sehr kleines Hotel mit wenigen Zimmern. Unser Zimmer war im 3. Stock und wir hatten einen tollen Ausblick. Zimmer und Bad war relativ modern eingerichtet und ausreichend groß. TV Safe Klima Föhn gehören zur Ausstattung. Wlan - Empfang war im Zimmer schwach, aber wurde gratis angeboten. Der Wasserdruck bei der Dusche könnte etwas mehr sein und die Überkopfdusche war schon verkalkt und spritzte in alle Richtungen. Ich würde nächstes mal wieder dieses Hotel auswählen.

Nice small hotel ; great location ; friendly staff
We had a great time at the Relais Venezia. The hotel is small (6-8 rooms). Breakfast is nice and served at your room if you prefer. Our room was on the top floor with a nice view but no elevator. If you have any mobility limitations let them know when you book your room so they give you a room on a lower level. Staff is super friendly! Room clean and comfortable

best hotel in excellent location
This is a family run hotel in an excellent location and only 5 minutes to San Marco Square. We were looked after very well by the family members and their staff. Room and breakfast were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. One of the best Resturants was so local when walking towards San Marco Sq. Rialto bridge and the rest of Venice was very close too. Would go there again.

The hotel was everything it promised to be...small quiet elegant. A quick walk to San Marco Square. Wifi can be a bit spotty on the upper floors. Staff is very friendly. It was a very pleasant experience. Would def stay again. Just be prepared for very hard mattresses.

You will not regret staying at the Relais Venezia!
Arrived to a Lovely warm welcome at Relais Venezia. The hotel is situated less than 5mins walk from st marks square and less than 10mins away from Rialto Bridge. Pretty much perfect location for us. It wasn't loud at night either(but this was January can't speak for the summer months). Upon arrival the host gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The room we had was exactly like the pictures and very clean.The bed was quite firm but we slept very well on it. Not much choice on TV just the usual bbc world and cnn. Breakfast is adequate fresh croissants and coffee/tea. We had a lovely stay at the Relais Venezia and would strongly recommend it. Between the hotel and the square is a brilliant fresh pasta takeaway called 'dal moro's' great for a quick lunch you can miss it this is always a que outside.

Elegant hotel with great location
The hotel was very centrally located and easy access to Piazza San Marco, Ponte du Rialto, main Vapoletto stations, or any great restrauants. The hotel let us to leave our luggages before check in and after check out which made our trip much easier. The front gentleman was very friendly and gave us all information that we needed. Their breakfast was very good as well. We would recommend to anyone who wants to explore central Venice and we would stay there again. Thank you.

Our stay was nice. Room was pleasant with a decent size and a full bathtub. Also this place is quiet on weeknights, friday night stay was pretty annoying. It might have been because of the bar restaurant 2 doors away. Breakfast included coffee juices cereal yogurt and bread with choices of jams. The location was pretty far walk from the train station so we took a taxi boat when we left. 70 euro at the time for one way. If you're travelling with luggages or kids i don't recommend walking to find this place. The bridges to cross are not luggage friendly. Before coming to find this place make sure to follow the directions or get a good map of venice or else you will get lost.

Great hospitality from a small, nice hotel
We stayed the last night of our visit to Italy before traveling to rest of Europe. Very small hotel, in a small alley, but very big heart of service desk personnel, especially the older Italian gentleman. True Italian hospitality with great tips and useful advice. Breakfast was basic, but we were not expecting much more. Location is great, since it is very close to St. Marks Square. But as anyone who has gone to Venice will attest you can get lost easily after leaving this hotel, or any hotel in Venice. Keep a large detailed map when you step out.
