”We have been staying at the Winnipaug for years, and are always pleased with the hotel, staff and amenities.”

”The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, but cramped. You have to buy ice from the hotel. We didn't use the pool because there were always a bunch of teenagers out there -- but they appeared to be having a blast. The pool area is cute, and there are several picnic-type shelters. The hotel is close to a grocery store, gas stations, and a few restaurants. It's a bit of a drive into downtown Westerly, but it's worth it. Such a cute town.”

”We have been going to Shelter Harbor Inn for decades. After its most recent renovations, the Inn is absolutely beautiful. The design of the inn is lovely. The grounds are stunning. And very importantly, the staff is excellent. There was some confusion re our check in and both the young woman who checked us in (Laci V) and the young woman who checked us out (Laci M) handled the situation perfectly. Sadly, we were only there for one night most recently but we will return.”

”It’s definitely not worth the price and resort fee is comical. One bathroom for the whole facility and it was extremely dirty. It’s not handicapped accessible. It’s barely luggage accessible. We got told by beach security we can’t access the beach which doesn’t make sense since we paid a resort fee and our staying on the beach !!!!! Also we had to call front desk for an iron, no phone in the room so we had to use our cell phone and we kept getting an answering service!!! We walked down to find...

”Family of five who needed a place to crash 3 nights. The location is amazing. Right on the beach. Parking easy and assigned. Rooms were ok. The bathroom cabinet in room 109 was crooked and the back of it inside falling apart. Fridge worked great. View from ocean room.. so beautiful. Balcony, incredible and large. Very strict rules which I’m assuming is from past people partying. Rooms were quiet from other guests. Staff running it was helpful and great. Coffee was on first floor which was nice...

”The entire property was clean. The shuffle board and private beach access was something I was unaware of and enjoyed to the fullest. Books and games for kids in the lobby. Staff member brought sliced watermelon out to the pool. There are so many great things to say. We will be back.”
