We stayed there a few nights, the last night we stayed- we noticed a live rat in our room and the owner tried blaming us for “leaving the door open” when we were getting our stuff in our room even though we never left the door open as we were right outside the door at all times and never seen a rat go inside our room. The owner did give us a new room though, which was nice since we had a small child. The new room we got had a very loose shower head and the water was burning hot and wouldn’t cool down, I had to turn it off and on to get the temp set just right. Other than that, it was a very quiet and very clean place to sleep.

No window out front and no peephole, no security bar for the door, no pictures or artwork on any wall, furniture beat up (try old English) and since it was raining, no satalite tv and no internet, i have stayed in 100 motels and you folks come in 3rd worst, behind a motel in Gettysburg where the bottoms of my white socks were black in just a few minutes,

Kind of amusing 1950's style motel. The rooms were clean, but dated. The diner next door is about the only dining option, but it was OK.

This is a small family run roadside motel. We have stayed there several times on route to Rehoboth. Frist visit: room was clean, new fridge and micro, good TV reception and a renovated bathroom. Second: time the carpet had been replaced and new clean upholstered chairs- both of which had been needed. It's affordable, clean, and works for us.

The price is right, the location convenient for our needs. The room was spruced up from our last visit with a new carpet and better/ cleaner upholstered chair. The bath is stone and tile and obviously recently renovated. I shall continue to come here.

Nice Room, Not Chic
If you're looking for upper-crusty chic, this ain't it. Older building, basic room, but it has a fridge and M/w. Large tile shower, but the toilet is a tight fit. TV with mostly commercials. Wifi is good. Looks like some people actually live here. Diner next door is excellent! Middletown has lots of shopping, and there is a local Amish market.

Quant Motel, nice stay.
Really quant motel. Rooms are too small for everything they put in it, but it was a great stay. The parking was tricky. Would definitely stay again.

Old but clean with very comfortable beds.
The room was small but very clean. The beds appeared to be new and comfortable. I have nothing bad to say about the room, however the live-in residents were loud. Shouting, hollering back and forth. I didn't really want to use the air but to drown out the noise, I ran the fan all night.

Got to the hotel and they had canceled my reservation, and had no more rooms. They said they ran my c*rd and it was declined but I was using the c*rd all day with no problems. No call, no email, no help finding a room nearby.

we are sorry that you had to face this but we did tried to charge your card 3 times and it did not go through, we also emailed you about the situation at 7:30 AM on the day of your check in. And we also contacted Expedia, and they suggested to cancel the reservation if we didn't hear anything back after 3 hours.

The room was very clean and tidy, but it had a strong smell of tobacco. The attention excellent. I'm not complaining about anything, I just have that observation.

The picture on this website was extremely misleading. Very run down and smelled horrible. The office was a closet that just smelled like wet dog, we told them we wanted to see the room first, it was reeking of febreze , like they were trying to cover the smell of something else. I get bad headaches from heavy aerosol spray, do we went back to the office, told the young lady, (with a splitting headache, already). She informed us that Expedia would b keeping the cost of one night. Oh and of course she told me it was the sanitizer, baloney! I’ve worked with Sanitizer all summer and there is no odor. Needless to say, we do not recommend and this property needs to not b offered by hotels.com

I was very disappointed with property, for the price that I paid. The room smelled like bug spray, there were cracks in the plaster on the ceiling, the carpet was dirty, the sitting chair was very dirty, the screen door was missing part of it's screen and wasn't working properly. For $91 (after taxes) I expect more. If I had paid only $50 for the room, I would have been fine with it!

It started raining hard so I wanted to quit driving for the day. Booked this place a few minutes before arriving. Since I intentionally chose the lowest priced place in town I had low expectations, especially after reading the reviews. So I was surprised at what a good night's rest we got. The outside of the building looked very run down, but the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. No complaints.

NASTY AND OLD.
We were not very happy. The place was old and looked old. I had a very hard time unlocking the door. The toilet was to close to the shower. It took me 20 minutes to get the TV working. There was a stairway that went up to the roof that couldn't close all the way. We just wanted a place to shower and dress for a wedding and pkannwd on staying the night and going home in the morning but decided to just drive home. So we spent $72 just to take a shower. Never again.

I had dirty towels. The shower was so dirty I had to clean it myself with Lysol. The water was brown after I cleaned it. Dark hair found in my sheets. A terrible scented odor blocker was used heavily. Worked for a place to sleep. Easy check in.
