Few problems but wine tasting saved our stay
We had some initial problems that lessened our enjoyment. We arrived after dark and there were too few lights. The inn is off the main road and it was kind of confusing to know where to go. At the office door there were sign "open" and lights were on but the door was locked on there was no one there. Pretty confusing after a long trip. After a while we called a number provided on the door and very soon an employee came to check us in. She was friendly but gave us wrong password to wifi which caused us more confusement. Then to what was great. The room was very spacious, clean and comfy. Next morning we get to view inn's surroundings and the river. It was very quiet and relaxing. The free breakfast was great and winetasting an absolute blast and highlight of our stay. If you'll stay here, just make sure that winetasting is open during your stay and you are good to go.

One stop on our road trip: Yosemite
We stayed here two nights during our road trip in California. We booked this hotel for reason to see Yosemite. It was good, small (8 rooms) hotel about 1,5 hour drive from Yosemite valley. Nice and helpful staff, good breakfast and clean rooms. On a map it seems to be close to Yosemite but road between these two was very curvy and slow avg. ~25mph. You have to be aware when driving here especially after sun sets. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit their wineyard. Afterall it was a good stay and we enjoyed our time here.

Queens Inn by the river was a gem. The room space was very large and accommodating. The snacks and coffee provided were amazing. The town was beautiful with lots of shops and places to explore. We wished we had stayed while the restaurant and winery were open, but perhaps next time. We would definitely visit again, Queens Inn by the river was awesome!

Property management only there til noon then your on your own isolated place behind a restaurant. Which is not mention in advertising. Fireplace went onmlast night and they didn’t fix it

Expedia only allows business' to list what "amenities" are available on site for the Inn. As for the fireplace, we apologize it stopped working during your stay. Unfortunately, they require an actual technician to make repairs. Thank you for staying with us, we hope to serve you again.

Great stay! We checked in late afternoon and they had a clear check in process. The cabin we stayed in was clean and cozy, it took a little while to heat up with the window heating unit but by the time we got back from dinner it was warm. The property is safe and quiet, we didn’t make it to the wine bar but ate dinner at the restaurant and the short walk to dinner and back was really nice after a long day in Yosemite. Would definitely stay again if in Oakhurst!

This place is so cute and convenient. There is an absolute high quality restaurant on the property within walking distance from your hotel rooms, that has delisous hugb quality food. And the rooms are very clean and quant.

Good -------- - There was a nice view from the patio of the hills leading up from the stream. - The staff were well organized and were reasonable when I changed the reservation from a room with a single bed vs one with two beds about an hour after the original reservation. They did not charge a cancellation fee. I got the run around from Expedia for something so simple even after the Expedia rep called my personal cell uninvited to guarantee to me that there would be no service charge. -Take the hotel's advice and book directly and avoid the bots! -internet speed was good, Dish for TV. So so --------- The beds were basic wood frame. Not the softest but fit the motif. The lobby is open about half-time. There is bagged ice and refrigerator in the room and a drop box for the key.

Disappointed, won't return
This stay left a lot to be desired for, because of the ratings I expected better. We paid for a river view, but they forgot the river. Whoever cleans is not doing their job, the floor was filthy, cobwebs in the bathroom corners, the jetted tub was dirty too. There's also no phone in the room, so if you need something I guess you're just supposed to go wondering the grounds till you find someone.. the office has random times, even though their open sign is up, no one will be in the office. I had to give our key to the cleaning guy. The bed for adult time was SQUEAKY! There's no getting around what you're doing on that thing. Parking sucks if you have anything bigger than a fiat. They have a nice little u bend where the rooms are and parking spots right in front, those should be for the hotel guests, but they're not! It's general parking all over, so our truck got stuck in that little lot because of their live music on the weekends.. which you have to pay to get into. People park both ways all along the narrow street, blocking everyone from getting in or out. I was also told in an email that we would get 2 complimentary wine tastings, of course we didn't. After seeing the area for myself, we won't be staying at this place again, especially not for what you get for the price.

This property was so clean and beautiful. Honestly it was serene I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody. The owner and his partner were incredibly polite and helpful and even gave me advice on places to visit within Yosemite. Didn’t even really feel like a hotel honestly felt like a home away from home to me.

We stayed at this inn early in June 2023. We initially stayed in a room but were moved because of a small issue into one of their newer cabins. The cabins are slightly smaller than the rooms, but very attractive.

A hidden gem! Clean and well-staffed. Has its own wine tasting with 2 free tastings for guests. The wine room was managed by a woman by the name of Kennedy. Very friendly and knowable. I would recommend this place to anyone going to or leaving Yosemite.

Excelente sitio, en una zona rural, con acceso a un pequeño riachuelo. Cuenta con un pequeño pub, donde la atención es muy agradable. A pesar que llegamos cuando la recepción había cerrado, nos dieron las llaves allí, así como una merecida cerveza! Muy cerca de Yosemite, en particular de la ruta de las secoyas gigantes.

Comfy peaceful cabin, great wines
Lovely little place. All the info in the room was great. Lots of little places for storage Clean and compact. Huge bed. Had to take a sheet off cos it was rough to sleep in. Effective air conditioning and heating. Tv was great. Signage on the road was terrible, we went down a private road but found it eventually when coming from the other direction. Couldn't get a taxi easily and restaurants/ bars weren't easy to walk to cos there wasn't a footpath so we ended up driving. The winery was great. We went at the start of May so the inn bit wasn't open during the week which was a shame.

The restaurant has delicious food and wine. The staff is incredible especially in the office as I needed an early check in due to an exhausting morning, and they were so incredibly kind to get a room ready early so that I could get in to take a nap. I will definitely be going back!

Klein familiehotel, maar goed onderhouden. Dichtbij verschillende eetgelegenheden, ook mogelijk bij hotel zelf te eten. Schone ruime kamer, kleine badkamer maar heeft alles, terras aanwezig achterzijde. Openhaard in kamer, maar temperatuur lastig te reguleren. Zelfgebakken koeken gekregen van de eigenaar. Rustige omgeving, veel natuur. Gelegen dichtbij zuidelijke ingang van Yosemite (20min rijden naar ingang, maar wel ruim een uur als je naar het vallei wilt). Parkeren makkelijk, maar ingang hotel was wat lastiger te vinden.

If I could give 10 stars I would. This is the second time I've stayed here and I will most definitely be returning. Customer service is unmatched. The area is beautiful and secluded.

Just a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was so welcoming and went out of their way to make things perfect. Wine tasting and delicious eclectic food on site. Great little bar area and fire pit seating. Breweries nearby. Little shops to experience. A very quaint and idyllic spot to relax and enjoy.

Our room was comfortable, lovely and spacious, and the private patio with a table and chairs was a nice touch. We had our coffee out there every morning even though it was frosty outside. The views were worth it. The first night, our heat did not work, and neither did the fireplace. The next morning we were moved to another room, and between the heat and the fireplace we were toasty warm for the rest of our stay. (Staff offered to move us that night, but we were exhausted from traveling.) Overall, if you want quiet and convenience to town and Yosemite, the Queen's Inn is an excellent choice.
