The Space:

Welcome to your Hi-Fi hideaway presented by Navigate Stays. This thoughtfully restored 800 sqft homestead blends vintage vibes with modern ease—perfect for music lovers, desert dreamers, and anyone craving space to unwind. Centered around a sun-drenched Music Lounge, you’ll find a 1970s Technics turntable, Klipsch speakers, Bluetooth stereo, and a wall of vinyl & CDs—over 600 to explore.



Lounge inside on the Eames-style chair, cook in a well-stocked kitchen, or soak under the stars in your private hot tub. Enjoy an outdoor fire pit, grill, hammock, outdoor shower, and panoramic views from sunrise to moonrise. The home sits on 5 quiet acres with room to roam, a king-size bed, washer/dryer, and designer details throughout.



Whether you're spinning records or watching the sky turn pink, this is a place that plays in high fidelity—inside and out.

Complete privacy! The home and 5 surrounding acres are all your to enjoy. As a bonus, our property is adjacent to another 5 acres of protected government land..."Roam if you want to!"



The Neighborhood:

- Joshua Tree National Park, Black Rock Canyon (this less traveled area of the park features gigantic Joshua Trees, great hiking and FREE entrance!): 15 min

- Old Town Yucca Valley. Explore this charming area with lots of great shops and eateries! 10 min

- La Copine (best food in the High Desert, open for early dinner): 10 min

- The Integratron: 15 min

- Palm Springs Arial Tram: 45 min



Hi-Fi Homestead is in a quiet, rural area in Yucca Valley where homes sit on parcels of 2.5 to 5 acres, so there is lots of open space! Perched atop a small hill, this special location boasts views of the Village of Joshua Tree and the expansive JT National Park Mountain Range. Wildlife abounds, including roadrunners, hummingbirds, jackrabbits, cottontails, coyotes, chipmunks, ground squirrels, snakes, lizards and a variety of other large and small birds.



Getting Around:

A car is the best way to get around the high desert. Our home is located just a quarter mile off the pavement on a dirt road that is easily accessible by any vehicle.



Other Things to Note:

* The Wi-Fi signal is fairly reliable here, but since there are no cable lines on The Mesa, speeds are not as fast as you might be accustomed to in the city.



* According to the local Fire Department, our fire pit can be enjoyed on calm days. No fires can be lit in windy conditions, as you can imagine the danger of hot embers blowing around a dry desert. We have a water hose just a few steps from the fire pit as well.



* Please bring your own wood for the fire pit. It can be purchased at any grocery store in town or at Home Depot (5 min away).



* The High Fidelity Homestead is a beautifully renovated Mid-Century gem. It is full of vintage and new furnishings, decor, stereo equipment and vinyl. We ask that you treat everything in the house with the same care and respect as if it were your own.



Interaction with Guests:

I live a couple miles away and will be available if you need anything, but many people come to the desert to get away and have space, and I respect that as well. Please don't hesitate to contact me via a text or phone call.
