We took a night boat trip (if there is 6 of you they offer a discount) and saw all the bridges beautifully lit up. The boat trip is pared down to make them money ie we went for the 2 drink option but one drink is compulsory Hungarian sparkling white (that they call Champagne - which it cannot be) and the other is a small beer or tiny glass of red wine. All alcohol is dirt cheap in Budapest so they are making huge profit from you. Beers in bars are abouy 500 HUF for a large one (pint sized) and a bottle of wine from Tesco is 600HUF
It was fun walking across all the bridges from Pest to Buda and back again.
