The property was in a beautiful location on top of a mountain served well by local buses. The room we had was large but open plan with shower and toilet. The shower was amazing hot and powerful. Electrics in the room were dodgy .And being out of season the pool and hottub were not available which would have been nice to know before booking. The fireplace was not useable. We were given a heater that worked well. Overall we had a lovely stay it was what we needed a break from normal life , peaceful .

7 May 2019Hotel provides a free courtesy bus into and back from Funchal Centre, operated on a timetable. Can get busy.

31 Mar 2019It's a nice town square. The only problem is, the little shops are spread out and it takes time to find them. Better to go to La Vie shopping centre which is located near the Santa Catarina park. Ask a local person.
