Very nice for families with children!
All in all a very nice experience, stayed 4 nights in the hotel. Long walks on the beautiful clean beach and nice swimming. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The only minus is that this is a hotel for families with children so not very calm for relaxing. The breakfast room/restaurant was also rather noisy.

Elixian jumppia jee, muksutkin tykkäsi
Lasten kanssa aivan oiva, viivy max viikko. Ei aikuisten keskenkään pahin paikka, mutta en menisi ilman lapsia. Aivan loistavat jumpat, mahtava suomenkielinen animaattori Saija (vaikka oli off season), useissa hotelleissa lastenklubeille pääsee vasta 4-vuotiaana mutta täällä 3-vuotiaamme osallistui kaikkeen maksuttomaan ja lisämaksulliseen (300bahtia) ja viihtyi mainiosti. Otimme Kitchen Inclusive, laskimme että lasten ilmaisen buffetin vuoksi se tulee samoihin hintoihin kuin käydä resortin ulkopuolella syömässä. Ravintoloita kuitenkin on myös ulkopuolella, mikä on hyvä asia. Ateriat olivat pääosin à la carte, mikä jännitti lasten kanssa, mutta palvelu oli todella nopeaa ja ruoka tuli nopeasti, eli se toimi lasten kanssakin. Huone oli tilava ja todella hiljainen. Rannassa edullisia hierontoja (300baht). Syöttötuoleja, lastenaltaita, vesiliukuja, you name it. En olisi viikkoa kauempaa, mutta valitsen pääsiäisenä jo kolmannen Sunwing-loman Kyproksella koska SATS Elixian jumpat on mahtavia!

Something good, something bad
Pros(+): Nice pools with different dephts so easy with children with limited swimming abilities. Cleaning was Ok. Cons(-): Mould in a room, everyone coughing in the morning and it quit when getting out. Room was recently renovated and you could see that water damage on roof had just been painted on. Restaurant was mediocre with no undrstanding on ant allergies nor was it capable on discussing such matters. In overall, Ok place for staying on the pools with kids If you eat to live (instead of live to eat). Not much else to do.

Loistava hotelli lapsiperheelle
Ihan mahtava hotelli lapsiperheille. Hienot, isot uima-allasalueet ja hotelli on aivan rannassa. Ranta oli siisti ja rauhallinen, meressä oli tosi kiva uida vaihteluna uima-altaille. Hotellin alueella on kaksi edullista ja hyvää hierontapaikkaa, nekin ihan rannassa. Huone oli siisti ja tilava, näköala hyvä suoraan uima-altaille ja merikin pilkotti. (Ensin saimme kyllä huoneen 4. kerroksesta josta näköalana olisi ollut melkein pelkästään toisen rakennuksen seinä mutta saimme huoneen vaihdettua.) Huonoa tässä hotellissa oli ainoastaan ravintolat. Toinen oli aika heikkolaatuinen ja melko kallis, toinen oli laadultaan ok mutta järjettömän kallis. Myös palvelu ravintoloissa oli huonoa. Kannattaakin lähteä syömään joko rannan pieniin ravintoloihin tai tuktukilla Bang Tao Beachin "keskustaan" josta löytyy muutama kiva ravintola. Tuktukilla muutenkin helppoa ja edullista kulkea. Suosittelen tätä hotellia kyllä lämpimästi kaikille lasten kanssa matkustaville.

Nice familyhotel at the beach
This hotel is for families with kids. We stayed three nights at the family room first floor. Room was slightly outdated but clean and nothing really to complain. Acces straight to the pool area was great. There is variety of pools and beautiful beach. Activities for children. Massage service at the hotel with standard prices. Breakfast had good variety of foods but the food quality at the hotel restaurant was poor. You can find much better restaurants at the village street where are couple of small shops as well.

Hotelli on tosiaan ihan rannalla! Uima-altaat ihan loistavat! Happy baby -huone oli jo vähän väsynyt mutta todella toimiva lasten kanssa, ei lapset ole niin tarkkoja. Huoneessa oli pajon muurahaisia ja yksi torakkakin kävi vierailulla, huonesiivous hoiti asian nopeasti, tosin pienen pieniä muurahaisia oli keittiö seuraavana päivänä täynnä... Ruokalista ravintolassa oli monipuolinen. Lääkäripalvelut paikan päällä iso plussa. Wifikin toimi. Tuktukeilla pääsi liikkumaan kätevästi läheisiin pikkukauppoihin. Lapset viihtyivät! Suosittelen lapsiperheille, voisin tulla uudestaan. I

Ei kannata maksaa isommasta huoneesta
Perhesviitti kahdella huoneella, toisessa huoneessa ilmastointi automaattinen, "lasten makuuhuoneessa" oli ilmalämpöpumppu, joka valutti vettä alla olevaan sänkyyn. Sänky ei ollut siirrettävissä vaan kiinnitetty seinään. Kun hotelli oli täysi toisella viikollamme, ravintolassa joutui odottamaan aamupalallakin pöytää ja tarjoilijat olivat todella kiireisiä. Hymyä ei irronnut hotellin henkilökunnalta, kuten pienemmissä hotelleissa aiemmilla matkoillamme Thaimaahan. Ehkä liian "ketjumainen hotelli". Muutoin hyvin ohjelmaa ja hotellin ei paikalliset vapaa-ajan ohjaajat ammattitaitoisia ja iloisia !

A memorable stay - our children loved the place
Simply GREAT. Our two and three year old children absolutely LOVED this place! The two pools (one with the seal and one with the giraffe) were one of the highlights. All the other pools were great, too. The hotel and the room itself not the top class but when traveling with children, they do not see the small details. We would return to this hotel any time. Family suite (with one extra bedroom) worked for us well. Breakfast okay and nice surprise the free dinner buffet for the children (when the adults pay). The beach is wonderful and we liked the relaxed atmosphere at the hotel a lot. Some more smiles from some of the staff would have been great but simply a great hotel for the families with different age children.

Lapsiperheille loistava
Hotellilla on aivan mahtavat allasalueet. Lisäksi sijaitsee rannalla, joten voi helposti juosta mereen ja uima-altaaseen vuorotellen. Hotellin ravintoloissa oli meininki, ettei varsinaisesti tarvitse näyttää thaimaalaista hyvää palvelua, koska asiakkaita tulee joka tapauksessa. Se ei haitannut, koska rannalla oli useita hyviä vaihtoehtoisia ruokapaikkoja, jossa oli hyvä palvelu. Erityisesti lapsiperheille hyvä paikka, altailla leikkihuone ja ohjelmaa, leikkipaikalla aina ohjaaja paikalla. Karonille kesti taksilla noin tunti. Hotellilta pääsi 100 bahtilla paikalliseen pieneen keskustaan, jotta Tesco ruokakauppa ja joitain pieniä putiikkeja ja mäkkäri...hotellissa oli lähinnä ruotsalaisia ja norjalaisia, venäläisiä todella vähän!

Sunwing Resort Bangtao Beach osoittautui hyväksi hotelliksi lapsiperheelle. Hotellin lapsille järjestämä ohjelma oli monipuolista ja tarjosi mukavaa ajanvietettä uimisen lomassa. We booked this hotel mainly because we were looking for a family friendly resort close to the beach. As expected it was crowded, mainly booked by decent families with kids. All pools were clean and well equipped with enough sunbeds. The beach is very nice and seems to be endless with plenty of bars and restaurants, at least in the southern part were we stayed. For the age of our daughter (7) the kids club did not offer to much, so she attended just once. Room We had a room in the ground floor, next to the stage and breakfast area. Already when we entered we recognized an ugly smell from the sinks in the bathroom. After calling the reception somebody came and put some stuff in, which solved the problem. But unfortunately the smell came back several times during our stay. As the window to the terrace has zero noise insulation the room was quite noisy.

We chose this resort to have a restful couple of days after a long time on the road and it was the perfect choice. There are 4 pools and we had a room on one which was very quiet. The kids and their families were staying in other wings. In fact, I could say that our pool was one of the best resort pools I've been in. The staff were extremely helpful and as well as the restaurants on site, there are couple more just across the road. We were very happy with our choice and if we go back to Phuket, I'd be happy to stay there again.

不是大型酒店，但設備齊全，早餐選擇多及整潔
先負評的是幫我們拿行李到房間的員工，在沒有樣級情況下，多次將我們的行李箱拉到翻側及撞到路過的地方。我們的行李只是20kg以下及行李箱的四個轆都能正常運作。這員工對待行李非常粗暴！ 另外，酒店前台員工會把信用卡號碼輸入到電腦中，令人感到不安！在餐廳用膳也不會這樣，這種記錄信用卡號碼是非常落後及不當。 Check in時前台員工說我第一張信用卡無效，我給她第二張也信用卡也說無效。在沒有嘗試使用其他信用卡機及詢問我有無其他付款方式前，直接叫我出去ATM提款。要我主動提出叫她用其他信用卡機再試，她一試便成功，最後只是說我的卡沒有問題。 酒店有四個泳池，到酒店餐廳及泳池，playhouse 也很方便。 自助早餐大部分食物放在有冷氣的地方，感覺衛生及食物選擇多。

Needs investment
Mixed feelings. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach... BUT ... It's very very tired inside and out and needs investment. At the time of visit, 80%+ of all guests were Russian which wasn't great tbh.
