”It was a very special and unforgettable experience spending one night at a floating island hotel on Titicaca Lake, though the conditions were not that as good as staying in a "real hotel" in the city and it was freezing at night. The people who attended us were very nice and kind. We were glad that we chose to stay there for the night. ”

”The island is beautiful and so is the rental lodge. Huge windows with seating out on a deck where you can enjoy a full view of the lake and mountains. It’s very quiet there and although you can only get there by boat, they are very timely with picking you up and dropping you off. Communication beforehand was very good and they were responsive. We stayed here in the spring and at night it hit 31 degrees F and we had no heat. They did make our bed up with several layers of incredibly warm bedding...

We have been there in June 2018 and it had some minus degrees without heating in the room or an hot shower. In the dining room we got a heater so it was possible to survive. Thanks to Mr. Oswaldo”

He kindly took us around the area, pointing out places and discussing history and culture with us. We learned a lot. ”What an incredible place and location. Ronaldo and his wife were amazing hosts, My arrival time changed and he had no problem picking me up at the dock very late at 10 pm. accommodation was very cosy with an incredible view of the lake. I was worried about the room being cold but the bed had so many fantastic, comforters and blankets on it I was warm all night and had a fantastic sleep. In the morning, I had a beautiful freshly made breakfast and Ronaldo gave me a tour of the floating...
