”I loved the location being so close and convenient to hiking trails, lakes, Wicklow Gap, and close enough to shopping and other amenities. The staff was excellent! I appreciated the conversations, recommendations, and welcoming personalities. I didn't like that there was no outdoor seating near the water for a picnic, or just to enjoy being outdoors. The only outdoor seating was by the BBQ Cafe and posted signage that you can't use that seating unless buying from them. But what good is having...

”Staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Food in the pub was fantastic (seafood chowder & bread, summer risotto), and the atmosphere was just what you’d want and expect in an Irish pub. Room was lovely, great bed and pillows so slept very well, room very clean. Lots of car parking space, and the village very lovely.”

”This was our first stop away from Dublin on our holiday. The owners, Dave and Laura were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable, bed a bit soft ( we love hard beds) but clean. Breakfast was delicious and delightfully they had beautiful Enya music playing while we ate. Their yard is delightful to see. Our only complaint, is that the house was cold upon arrival and was never warmed. Our room warmed very nicely. It was a dreary day. ”

”Tudor Lodge was a disaster as it was not open at all. We had made a reservation at least one month earlier via internet, but after driving several hundred kilometers we arrived to Tudor Lodge around 7.p.m. just to find out, that the place was closed down. A man opened the door and said that someone had passed away and that they wouldn't admit any guests. Nobody bothered to call us and inform about the situation.
