”Loved the guest lodge. Perfect location, with a great eatery next door ! Staff very friendly and really helpful. Honesty bar a great touch. Breakfast good. We has a Standard room with no air con only a fan which was when it was hot made it quite stuffy in the room. Would recommend guest house though and only wish we could have stayed longer. ”

”We really enjoyed our stay in Herold’s bay, our host was in touch with us on the lead up to the stay and then met us on the location and helped us with parking, she was very friendly. The room had a wonderful view over the beach and we loved the convenience of the restaurant next door to our stay. It had everything we needed for our night’s stay before heading off to George airport the following morning.”

”The Sky Penthouse was very large and roomy with a great view. The staff was attentive and the breakfast was excellent. Everything about the hotel was five star. The only two things we were disappointed in was the property was on top of a cliff which led to a gorgeous view but getting to the beach was a little inconvenient. It is not a great beach for sunbathing/picnicing. Also, we had planned to walk to the trails at the national park but this is not easy to do. Overall, excellent stay”

”First: The property is hard to find. Looking for 23 Lang Street per Expedia. But you have to enter 25 Lang Street. Why can’t they provide accurate directions? Very poor start. Second: The room is huge and clean and well-appointed. Oh wait, the architect forgot something. How about a bathroom door ! And bathroom walls that reach the ceiling! This place is for monkeys, not humans. Made for a unique experience that I’ll hope to not repeat. Somebody didn’t think this place through.”
