”I actually had a room facing Domino’s Pizza and parking lot. After travelling from Canada, and first being turned around from Sydney Airport to Proserpine, due to flooding, I was disappointed to have a view of the parking lot. The hotel ended up to be a great location, with friendly staff. I loved the access to restaurants from this hotel. The bed was comfortable. Overall, the hotel is a little dated. ”

”It was first time I’m in a hotel which charges extra for emptying thrashbins in room. Or cleaning dishes. Also they didn’t book an airport transport for us as they promised in email, and the reception didn’t seem to care. Also room’s floor was sticky. Rooms were up in steep hill. The pool was nice.”

”Mantra Boathouse Apartments was a superb pick for our stay. Premises were excellent and crew very helpful. Really worth of the money! Too bad the weather did not favour us. Cyclone Iris visited area just before our stay and we did not see the best of Airlie Beach. With only adequate weather Airlie Beach did not offer that much to do. I am sure that with fine weather this is a paradise.”

”We stayed here only one night but would have loved to stay longer. The room was clean and spacious, and the view over the harbor was amazing. The hosts were very friendly, and even came to tell us that they had noticed that there's a light on in our car - it surely saved us from having a dead battery the next morning! ”Carol at Reception was most informative and efficient. The apartment had everything I needed and was quiet and spacious. Very well-stocked! I loved the lush vegetation surrounding my balcony. The pool was excellent; there were noodles, air mattresses and other toys. Location was great! Close to the lagoon (pool). A good cardio workout to get to/from busy, loud Main Street.”

”Beautiful appt. The view over Shute Harbour from the Balcony was wonderful. The location of the property is quite remote about 20 mins from Airlie by public transport. We didn’t have a car so used the bus. The stop was about 10 min walk from appt. Buses ran on time and were extremely cheap. If you like peace and quiet and waking up to stunning views every morning then this property is for you. We loved it and would definitely return. We stayed in Unit 4.
