”This used to be a beautiful resort. It so rundown and creepy now it's sad to see. I would not recommend staying here. Within an hour of being there I turned in my keys and stayed somewhere else. Based off of other reviews it sounds like I'm out the money for the rest of the nights I had reserved even though they have a 24 hour cancellation policy.”

”The rooms were supposedly non-smoking but had a stale smoke smell, especially on the third floor. There was no screen on our window even though we were able to open the window. There were loose tiles on the bathroom floor, so we needed to be careful not to injure ourselves. The light in the elevator area was out during our stay and others mentioned it had been out all weekend. Then there was the pool area; the chlorine and other chemicals were so strong I could not stand being in the pool area...

”Cleanliness is subject to your own liking. I am a bit of a perfectionist and therefore it did not meet my standards. The bed linens and towels were clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and it was fine. I liked the coffee! Its and older hotel that needs repair. The pool was very nice and the kids loved it.”

”We enjoyed our stay. Hubby really liked how the river was right behind the hotel, walked down every morning to go fishing. Got the room with a jacuzzi. Only down side the hard wood floor was a little dirty. Could use a couple of rounds of mopping, we had to wipe our feet every night before bed. Also wish they had instructions on how to use the stove top. Ours kept popping up with an error message. We gave up. But other than those small details we would love to come back.”
