”I can appreciate a vintage property and there are many things about this hotel that are charming. That said, my spacious King room overlooking the front of the hotel had a window a/c and vinyl blinds that did nothing to block out the streetlights all night - like sleeping with the lights on. At 4am the train whistle blew about 2 blocks away and seemed like it kept blowing until 5am. ”The Hilton Garden Inn Hanover is a good option when visiting Dartmouth. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. While it isn’t within walking distance of campus, it’s only a short drive away. It’s also typically a bit less expensive than staying in downtown Hanover. If you can’t stay right in town, this is the best place to stay.”

The outdoor area for relaxing or eating g had leaves under the tables and the tables were dirty. Our room had a slider which had a shade that was broken and ripped.
