”Though the Inn was obviously dated, it was clean, modernized, staff was friendly, the bathroom remodeled and the amenities modern. The mattress was comfortable and the couch in the room was also very nice. The fire pit areas were also very nice and comfortable. The restaurant was clean, service was good, but we chose to experiment and visit other places for our meals.”

”You can hear airplanes and garbage truck (?) on a nightly basis plus someone is playing the horn in distance at 10 PM and 7 AM. I don’t know what’s going on with that. Breakfast a solid 6/10. The things they do have at breakfast are all OK but for example, there’s nothing to put on the toast besides butter and jam. There’s a very nice gas operated fireplace in the room, which is a big plus. We had a junior suite which was very roomy and also the bathroom is very spacious.”

”Room was perfect! We drove down from San Francisco to go to the Monterey Bay aquarium afterwards we grabbed some dinner and checked into the hotel super quick super easy parking was easy. Check-in was easy. Our room had a pool view and the pool is heated and was open until 10 PM so we swam a bit and we’re in the Jacuzzi. ”We stayed there two nights during our roadtrip. The hotel was quite nice. We had to be in contact to the hotel beforehand several times, since the reception closes already at 5pm. The rooms were spacious but a bit worn out, our friends bathroom door was stucked, but luckily the staff was still there when it happened. There was an odd moldy odour in the room. Otherwise the location was good, near the ocean and Monterey and the center of Pacific Grove can be easily reached by bus or by car. ”
