”We stayed two nights. Location was very good in a quiet place. Staff were very helpful and the place was clean. Enjoyed the covered pool. We didn’t find our king (or I should say super king) bed was comfortable, it was too soft and saggy!”

”Das Hotel liegt sehr schön am Eriesee, unbedingt ein Zimmer mit Seeblick nehmen. Mein Zimmer war sehr groß, es gab einen Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine. Zusätzlich gab es auf der Etage Wasserspender und eine Kaffe und Teestation, an der man sich jederzeit bedienen konnte. Großer Gratisparkplatz. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Hotel.”

”Coming from seven hours away to visit family and having the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful home, made our trip even that much more perfect. It was great to relax after a long day in the living room, watch a bit of tele and of course my husband was ecstatic to be able to watch the Fifa world cup soccer lol.
Wonderful service and we will definitely be back 😊”

”A cozy house just south of downtown (just north of the ferry dock). We had the guest suite (downstairs), which had a minor disadvantage of pipes running across the ceiling, but otherwise, it was well soundproofed and got good light from outside.
Breakfast was provided each morning and was a mix of berries, fruits, yoghurts, and scrambled eggs. The hosts (and their three dogs) ere wonderful people, very friendly, with a lot of hospitality experience.
Would stay again!”

”Our experience at Omstead’s on Erie was amazing, my friend, daughter and I are still talking about it. First off, the home was so well decorated, every carefully selected item has a story and the stories were amazing, all this with a great view of Lake Erie. Margo and Keith are great hosts, they provided us with many great local recommendations for dinner and Margo treated us to locally sourced fancy breakfasts. We will definitely be going back!”

”the "accessible" room did not have a wheelchair accessible shower. There was a step to access the shower, and it wasn`t possible to reach the shower controls from the bench. I needed to switch to a regular room with a tub. Staff were helpful in resolving the issue, but "accessible" rooms should be verified that they actually are accessible.”
