”We stayed at Mariposa when we arrived to Placencia and the last night before we returned home and it was perfect. Gladis was very welcoming at the reception, Donny was amazing at the restaurant and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bungalow was perfect for our family of 4, since they have bunk beds. The restaurant was good with a nice view of the ocean. They have nice swings, volleyball court, paddle boards and bicycles which is perfect to go in town. It’s less than 5 minutes...

”Ray Caye Island Resort was a little slice of heaven for us! My husband and I went for our 30th anniversary and stayed in the honeymoon suite l, which I would highly recommend for its privacy and amazing view. ”The location of coral cove is stunning, directly on the beach which is combed every day and lined with palm trees, just beautiful. Free kayak and bike hire is a great bonus, which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a bit basic and the only vegan breakfast option was fruit, but overall we loved our stay here and would definitely come back. ”

”We loved our stay in the Turtle room! We had a last minute change in our itinerary and needed a place for only one night... But we wished we had more time at this spot! The owners are very kind and responsive. The room was very comfy and cozy. I appreciated all the shelving in the rooms and bathroom. AC worked great. And the screened in porch was really wonderful to hang out on. It's also in a great location for wandering around the village. ”

”STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky. But trust me, you will not care! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wouldn’t miss for anything! No other vacation has compared. ”

”What an amazing property. This little island (about 1 acre in size) is absolutely beautiful.
