”Terrific little historic hotel with a lot of vintage charm. Right downtown -- walking distance to the river, nearby casinos, and (in our case) the Mudbug Madness Festival. The staff was particularly warm and inviting -- offering terrific local advise and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This place should be on your radar screen when visiting Shreveport!”

”The hotel is a bit outdated. But other wise a nice hotel. The only thing that i have to say is that we came in a room after a dog and the floor had poop in the corner. We let the hotel staff know and they took care of it. We will come back in the future”

”I loved the excellent customer service from check in, to dining experience, to the housekeeper that served us. The atmosphere was hands down the best overall. However the bedroom and bathroom was lacking the same quality. They both were very outdated. I was very disappointed with the appearance of the room, decor and bathroom. Especially for the price that we paid. The staff was superb in every area.”
