”The sound of the cars and trucks on the road below the hotel kept waking us up throughout the night. Incredibly loud, even compared to hotels I've stayed in on downtown city streets.”

”The room was on the ground level so walked out onto the gorgeous sprawling golf course and the lake and the beautiful pool/hot tub facilites. The location was great for where you meet to start a Clemson tour, however it's completely away from the main part of campus and the town otherwise, so nothing is really walkable from it. That's not a big deal b/c everything is a less than 5-10 min drive and the location is so pretty and peaceful it's worth it. we used the pool and hot tub at 8pm and were...

”The room was clean. The property overall is very nice, just needs a refresh. Example: need USB ports for cell phones and electronics in the rooms. An elevator would be nice for us older folks.
Restaurants were very good and convenient. Lovely property & scenery.”

”The room lacked detailed cleanliness upon arrival and even the following day after the daily cleaning.
Upon arrival the bathroom floor hadn’t been detailed. You could see small pieces of debris. The following day after cleaning it was left exactly the same.
Upon arrival the bathroom trash bin had the liner bag laying on the side waiting to be inserted. Then the following day the garbage in the same bin was not emptied.
Lastly the pillows on the made bed upon arrival had been placed without...

”Although I do not Golf i decided to stay in Kingwood - mainly due to its location (ideal for my purposes) and other facilities. The area is beautiful, facilities and services are good and the staff was nice. The lack of microwave oven in the room was basically the minus I had. For a hotel gym, the equipments were good. The indoor pool was big and outdoor pool peacefully quiet.”
