”The Strand Inn was a great place to stay in Dunmore East. Sitting right on the beach, the property had a beautiful patio and dining area overlooking the water. The rooms weren’t very big but the bed was super comfortable and if you had a waterfront room than you were able to listen to the waves crash as you slept. We would definitely stay here again. ”

”This is a lovely hotel with really friendly staff who made us very welcome during our stay. It is an older building, which has its pros and cons - quirky and full of character, though the bathroom area in our room was on the small side. The location is lovely, very close to the waterfront with good views, but the town and its amenities are on the other side of quite a long bridge. Would recommend overall.”

”We stayed with our lovely hosts Jo and Jim at their beautiful B&B. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Lovely Jo showed us to our room and it really did exceed expectations. Breakfast was delicious with perfectly cooked scrambled eggs and fresh coffee etc. Jo and Jim went over and beyond to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend to communicate with the host ahead of time, because while the contact phone number is listed at multiple points on the property, it can be difficult for a traveler without phone service. I was traveling from another country and had data only, I was fortunate to have a local person lend me their phone so I could check in that first evening. ”This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower.
